I will not be purchasing any supporter packs going forward until the support for ultrawide monitors is embraced - and not made a TOS violation.
Especially when you turn a blind eye to obvious and public violations of the TOS by Elon Musk. Last Epoch is able to support my resolution just fine out of the box. They'll get my money. Last edited by Mordgier#6997 on Apr 5, 2025, 8:40:22 PM

I am the owner of 32:9 and this message about the ban is a shameless disgrace!

AS time rolls on, I'm angered more and more by this insane decision regarding banning people for wanting to play this game on an ultrawide monitor and not destroy it in the process.
Is there literally any other game that does this? I can't think of a single competitive multiplayer shooter that does. I certainly can't think of an ARPG with literally ZERO multiplayer aspects that does. If GGG was going to take this ridiculous and unprecedented stance, they should have made it clear BEFORE people started plunking down money prior to the EA launch. Guess what? There's never going to be parity in the PC space or between the PC and console space. This game is lucky to run at 20+ fps on the PS5 by the time you're mapping. I can run at 5-7X that framerate on my PC rig (with giant black bars burning into my monitor, of course). THAT is an actual advantage. We've got people playing on WASD, people playing traditional M&K, people on controller. Console players are playing at sub-HD native, PC players are playing anywhere from 1080p to 4K and beyond. Nothing about this decision makes any sense at all. Either reverse it, GGG, or do what darn near every other developer on the planet does in the year of our lord, 2025, and support ultrawide natively. Punishing people because they have good hardware makes you look ridiculous. |
