I feel the same. As someone that bought the game a few days ago on the hype of the new season, I feel utterly gutted.
Did a minion build and with help got into act 2 and just gave up. It is not fun. Loot is terrible, there is no power fantasy, there is nothing fun in the game. After reading todays patch notes, its evident that GGG refuse to listen to feedback and continue with "the vision". Cool. I am out. |

" Funny as I see this behavior from your camp. You simply say people that liked the game are wrong and period. I liked that the patch robbed me of the power that made playing meaningless. I like that the game reduced power means I need to think on how I engage. I like that I need to use different approaches depending on the mob packs that I find, some I rake disengage, some I use whirlwids with tornados, some I blind with whirldwinds and wait them to pack to explode them.. some I kite and bleed with spear throw... a few I parry (that mechanic needs improvements). That is a trillion times better than a game where I have one skill so powerful that I just lawn mow everything in front of me never stopping. All that up to now int he campaign since I did not reach endgame on this league. |

Instead of doing what 99% of players asked and crying for, they do absolutely different thing and then wonder what's happenneng?
- Instead of slightly nerfing they just destroy a lot of builds - No buffs for rare spells and abilities - No good uniqs for most of the builds at campaign - No craft options at campaign - No aceptable trade system Nobody asked for destroy builds and buff mobs... Be so much focused trough the campaign*2 in order to be not one shooted is very hard, most of the people just tired from that. It shoudl not be so, at least not for the whole campagin... I have no fun, the worst league start I've every had. It's hard to me to motivate myself to reach maps to check them, and it seems I won't be able to. I'm not so young, I have my work and children. Guys, I just can't play this game I dont have enough mental power for that... Thank you GGG, for all, I know you can do much better. |

" a LOT of people asked to crush the high level builds. And mobs were NOT buffed. they were NERFED. All mobs have less armor and less HP than in 0.1. Bosses , yeah some need to be toned... I am also not young . I have 46 and that is exactly why I want a game that the campaign is engaging... not something that I can do in zombie mode because ZOMBIE mode is waste of time. Why to do something that requires no focus or work of your brain? There is a reason people that paint as a hobby paint portraits and landscape and not white walls... because without the need of engagement.. it is a waste of time. I have more fun in 10 minutes of 0.2 than in 2 hours of 0.1 and than in 100 hours of POE1 because most of the interactions with monsters are meaningful, have a risk and I cannot autopilot trough them. |

" Not really, all mobs are either melee and rush you down, or are casters and run into cast range and spam. This is all that monsters are doing. Pinnacle content I've seen are hasted rares that have double player movement speed and rush you until you're dead. in act 1, how fun and engaging. Don't kid yourself there is no agency here, there is no interaction. there is no difference to poe1. The only difference is, you must press 5 buttons per back instead of one. This is called a timesink. Not a meaningful interaction. Current Build: Penance Brand

" Nope, actually I am asking for feedback about what they enjoy...You provided what you liked, guess now the only debate is, are there more people that like being robbed of power and enjoy the sluggish pace of the game, or more people that liked feeling empowered, because that's what a fun RPG is to them. Either way, if the slow paced sluggish camp wins, probably more people will turn around from PoE2 and wait for PoE1 leagues, Last epoch or d4...On the contrary side, you will still play even if they fix the sluggishness because you will enjoy the game nevertheless. Just so you understand, I have 4k hours in PoE1 and almost 600 hours in PoE2 ( hard times, cannot play that much), I am a PoE enjoyer, and right now I am not enjoying PoE2. Don't want D4 most definitely do not want LE. I also do not really want to back track to D1 since I somehow enjoyed the first iteration of the PoE2 EA. You've just opened the floodgates at Last Epoch. A weekend to suffer and be totally disappointed.
I launched LE and in 10 minutes of campaigning I had more fun than in a weekend and 3 completed acts of PoE2 :-( Incredible, Total disappointment, I never thought I'd say this. |

This game feels like a second job. I kept getting on and playing for a half hour at a time and I kept feeling like nothing was fun or engaging or rewarding or interesting. And if I really really stick with it, what do I get at the end? It's boring as hell for me. |
