Path of Exile 2 - Upcoming Changes
" Given the historical pattern ggg has set is "abuse early and abuse often" it is likely they never thought it would get them banned. In Affliction league, people were dropping multiple t0 uniques and dozens of divines a map due to an odd interaction with the league mechanic and abyss spires. No one was banned and it lasted all league. There are plenty of other examples of ggg letting an insanely profitable interaction slide. You can't look at this one instance in isolation, because past experiences set expectations for the future. I'm not even against deleting the generated wealth, but banning people until 0.3 when (again) there is a certain individual that has been caught breaking tos and ggg does nothing leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The hypocrisy is my biggest problem honestly. |

and all of this just because of 1 interview with Zizaran where he asks normal questions, why is ziggyd still called to the q/a during league announcements? he literally never asks anything useful that we need or haven't heard before, just call literally any other streamer

That partial armour remove bug is crazy ;D
"Here's a a single mob cluster that can remove armor. Killed them? Good. Now do whole map without 90% armour." Glad its gonna be fixed quickly. I'd argue that HP still needs a better scaling (increase value melee chars get per level or something). |

In video games, "exploiting" refers to players intentionally using bugs, glitches, or unintended game mechanics to gain an unfair advantage or bypass intended gameplay, which is generally considered cheating by the gaming community.
Here's a more detailed explanation: Definition: Exploiting involves taking advantage of flaws or unintended features in a game to achieve outcomes or actions that were not intended by the developers. Examples: Using a bug to duplicate items or gain unlimited resources. Using a glitch to teleport to inaccessible areas or become invincible. Manipulating game mechanics in an unintended way to make the game easier or gain an advantage. Why it's considered cheating: Exploits undermine the fairness and balance of the game, potentially ruining the experience for other players and diminishing the challenge for the exploiter. Contrast with "glitches": While "glitches" are often used to describe bugs or unexpected occurrences in a game, "exploiting" specifically refers to the intentional use of those glitches or bugs to gain an advantage. Ai still has it's head on straight at least. Yall need to get a grip. Unban them already. Shit is pretty disgusting. Just sweep it under the rug and call it a day. |

Nice to see all those changes! Lets see how they will work out in the field and I hope its going to be better any more enjoyable for everyone!
BUT: Since 0.2 the performance of the game got way worse then pre-patch. Hope some optimization in regards to performance are also coming very soon! Last edited by PitGER#0288 on Apr 9, 2025, 3:31:18 AM
