Mystery box is a total scam.. Should have known.

No dubplicates. No, just different colors of same item with a different name due to the different color. The color difference is also so minor I couldnt even tell it was a different item without looking at the name. Rediculous... Dawn of the hunt themed!? Not a single item out of the 11 boxes has anything to do with dawn of the hunt or wasnt already in the game..

Based on this and everything else I would say this company has gone down the same road as so many other great game companys. Just trying to please investors. Shit like this and a rushed broken patch no one was asking for. What other bs could explain this drastic turn in basically everything with this company..

Mystery boxes (or "surprise mechanics", as EA would call them) are fundamentally immoral and should be banned in every game.

Does anybody remember the last time GGG offered a free Mystery Box with any purchase from the shop? They used to do that on the regular. Now, not so much. =0[.]o=

mtx boxes weren´t one of their brightest ideas.

the way i see it, the game is free, you can support the devs for their dedication with some bucks you donate and they give you some shiny things to show you like the game.

they also reward you for playing the game alot, which is also ok up to some point.

but i never understood them giving the same shiny things to people donating totally different amounts of dollars or if they wait with spending their coins until they have to pay less while being able to wait indefinitely until that happens.


this makes only sense if you sell stuff people really need to play the game.
which, in poe would be poe2 access. but that never got a price reduction.
