Yeah loot box mechanics are pretty shitty no matter which way you cut it. I think GGG’s right down the middle in terms of their implementation, not the worst offender but far from the best implementation.

BUT I do agree the “variations” between items of the same type are very disappointing. Pretty clearly just filler items to keep people pulling the slot machine lever to get something they want.

Will be interesting to see how GGG has to change things when/if some of the recent proposed EA laws take effect.

Yep, but now IMO they seem to do or say very little about POE1 now so we all that still love and play POE1 are just left out there.

I've supported them for the past 8 years buying alot of packs and annual packages. With the current direction of the game I won't be giving them anymore of my money. Sad cause this used to be a pretty good game.
