Streaming kills this game for me.

If we ever have another gauntlet you should check that out. That would require us to have another poe1 league though.

The only PoE streamer I watch is Alkaizer and I do it very rarely because
1. He only plays melee, which gets boring pretty quick 2. He and his audience are a bit....weird. Not in a bad way, just not my type of content |

" I never cared for those events being in the middle of a league, they take too many people out of the economy and destroy the experience for those trying to continue to enjoy the new league content. The whole thing was seemingly added just to support streamers falling off in mid-late league. I had much better experiences before they started doing this, I would play the entire league pretty much to the last day collecting items for my own use later so i have had a good feel for the life of the economy over all these years and its pretty clear when and what affects it so severely, It has never been so barren and lifeless as after they started doing these streamer events DURING the league. Streamers aren't bad, But giving them an unfair advantage is. Where's the love for your players GGG? Innocence forgives you Last edited by SilentSymphony#3358 on Apr 16, 2025, 12:51:47 PM

" U are free to have that opinion but the game currently is bad by any standard measurement an ARPG has to offer. Loot is terrible, crafting is non existant, servers are a joke, endgame is bland and unrewarding. But lets focus for a second on this streamers talk. What exactly do you mean by streamers getting unfair advantages? Which streamers? What do they get? And most importantly where can i witness that? |

" I don't have the clips from twitch handy but there have been instances of GGG dropping loot for some streamers and even making a little comment on their stream like a smileyface/etc but this is a pretty well known one. That alone isn't all of the data just take my own experience through the game i played since the earliest days of the publicly available product in 2013 and have been playing very consistently since that day until current times, the only leagues i really took a break from were when (get this) the support team literally banned me by mistake because they didn't read a report (twice) costing me two entire leagues just about but aside from that i have been here grinding my butt off to support my friends and i can tell you their drop rates are not the same as ours and never were. Take my word for it or not after GGG was caught red handed doing that all the data adds up to a conclusion which isn't very respectful to the players. 10 years not a single mirror, I did oldschool ghostbombing on potato mode you name it and nada, I'm not crying but i am saying that the numbers don't add up and not to some ambiguous level but quite a definitive one after again a decade of observing the flow of this game intimately. Innocence forgives you

" You do not need to pay anything to "enable trade", anyone can go to the site and whisper players from there. Anyone can use the currency exchange. Anyone can trade in game with anyone. You need a premium tab if you want to sell items through the website. Just because you've played 30k hours doesn't mean you are guaranteed a mirror drop. Some newbie could drop 3 in act 1, it's random. " Then name them, until you do I'm calling bullshit. Perhaps you're confusing earning mirrors through trade with actually dropping them. |

"GGG doing favors for some of these streamers"
Such as? The changes for issues that Zizaran brought up in his interview, mirroring the vast majority of the community's issues? Or something else entirely? |

" Streamers are a plague of our time. It is not only a problem for PoE2. Ten years ago, it was a minor issue, but a massive number of people without jobs began creating content on YouTube and making a living from it. |

" Isn't... Isn't that called a job? Just because you work for yourself and not someone else doesn't mean it isn't a job. Or, are you just jealous that some people are able to provide for themselves? |
