Upcoming Plans for 0.2.0g
You’re losing players now, and waiting weeks to fix things isn’t helping. The game is overrun by bots, and normal players are gone. You made too many drastic changes at once, and now, instead of acting fast, you’re dragging it out.
Fixing loot now won’t undo two weeks of damage. You can’t wait for feedback when most players have already left. I wasn’t against the difficulty, but did you ever consider how much time a player actually needs just to get basic gear? Oh, a couple of weeks, huh? Fantastic! Maybe by the time the changes roll out, the only remaining players will be the bots—enjoying their peaceful, empty servers and trading amongst themselves in a perfect economy. At this rate, I fully expect the next update to come with patch notes that read: "Improved bot experience. Human players are now an optional feature." Good luck to the Lightning Spear players—keep spamming. The rest of us are moving on to games that actually respect their players. |

plz buff other classes or skills. Everyone is throwing lightning spears all day. Make tankier all classes if builds stacked some def layers. we just get 1-2 shots even if we stacked def layers. Most ppl goes glasscanon now

the problem with bosses on maps is that their tablets come with a complete garbo 3-4 range so why even bother putting them on your towers? either upgrade them to 15 max range like irradiated/breach/etc or just remove them from the game and add bosses to every map

" Agreed with this. For real casual players (lets just say 10-15 hours per week), the current gameplay loop is way too slow. It simply takes too much time to get through the campaign when items and currency are both rare. Anecdotally, on my first 0.2.0 character, I finished the campaign with 9 ex, and only used a single one. If (rare) item drops are meant to be so scarce, then we need waaay more currency (just give us Alchs!!!) to craft our own gear while going through the campaign. In general though, I appreciate the work GGG has put in to fix as many things as possible this patch. Next patch, please make sure that we get enough stuff dropping, especially acts 1 + 2. To hell with everything. Why do I feel like playing a turn-based strategy game with a powerful enough gaming computer?!!! Where is the FPS? When will the servers stop slowing down?!!!

Since the launch of Dawn of the Hunt:
-Enfeeble player affliction modification was added to Waystones. -Temporal Chains player affliction modification was added to Waystones. NO ONE in the PoE2 community asked for these or even remotely thought this was a "good" change to End Game to be more "immersive". Why was this even considered? To make up for the reduced in mob Health Pool (HP) and "some" defenses? GGG is making End Game more of a mini Trial of Sekhemas with these debuffs added to Waystones. These are even more annoying for T15-T16 Maps with 6-10 Waystone modifiers. Most players in their experience with these debuffs on their Waystones, single or both at the same time are instantly selling them or vendoring. It's disheartening to "brick" your high Rarity Waystone to BOTH Enfeeble and Temporal Chains on the SAME Waystone. YES, Enfeeble and Temporal Chains CAN come with BOTH afflictions on the same Waystone. That's a instant no-go criteria when T15-16 mapping. You also have to understand and consider that on top of Enfeeble and Temporal Chains which can be on the same Waystone, there are other factors that contribute to players hinderances included on those Waystone modifications, for example. Minus (value) to player Elemental Resistances Minus (value) to player Defenses Minus (value) to player Health and Energy Shield Regeneration Monsters have 20/30/40% increased Cast Time/Speed/Attack (ect) Monsters have (value) in increased Health Monsters have (value) more Defense Monsters have increased (value) to Elemental Resistances The list goes on and on while the player can have LESS modifications to better their experience, it's mostly ruined by debuffs on the player and/or modifications for mobs over Gold, Rarity, Experience ect that's extremely minor to the effects over the modifications the mobs will inherit via the Waystone Modifications. Sure, Tablets can have values that increase Gold, Rarity, Experience ect, however, there are MORE values that contribute to Monster (mob) modifications than Player modification to counter balance the effects on the Waystones. Sure, there are players out there who can roll T15-16's with little effort (my Level 92 Huntress is T15-16 Mapping comfortably), however, this cannot be said about majority of players who are either new or getting used to Mapping in PoE2. I'm not trying to "dumb down" End Game for players, I'm bringing awareness to the current ISSUE players experience having these two modifications brought from Sekhemas to End Game mapping. Prowling Shades: These annoying disappearing ghost like mobs can STILL one shot players, even White quality Prowling Shade mobs. The Rare and Elite Prowling Shades are even deadlier. Despite their changes in earlier patches to where Prowling Shades disappearing and use of their Cold Attack was "reduced" in cast time and their "Stealth" (disappearing) is less common, it's still as powerful as ever which can still bypass players Energy Shield and Heath while freezing/one shotting players even with 75% Cold Resistance. Prowling Shades tracking is impressive as well. They mimic your every move while they channel their Cold Attack, then unleash a Frost Spike like skill which Freezes, Slows, Knockback/Stagger and deal Physical/Elemental Damage at the same time. I have been one shotted by these Prowling Shades more often than not encountering them in Vaal Factory and Sandspit maps. I try to make them my priority first kill since I know how annoying and powerful they can be, especially in a group with other Common/Magic Prowling Shades. They're relentless and in numbers, they're a deadly combo. Best to avoid Prowling Shades at all costs even if you have 2k+ HP and 2k+ ES, TWO Prowling Shades can set your XP back by 10% easily. This particular mob, as laughable as it may seem even the common variant, can still one shot players and bypass their defenses one shotting. Overall, PoE2 is getting more "annoying" than "fun" for a lot of the community with these "knee jerk" changes to include Enfeeble and Temporal Chain afflictions added to Waystones. The more recent changes are "good" for the short time being, however, there needs to be more "long term" changes looking forward into the future for official launch preparations. I know this may be "That's what we are doing though!" type of mentality for you, but to the players, it's not. I just hope things get "better" in the long run while the short term "feel good" hypes don't last longer than a few days. I'm not quitting PoE2 anytime soon, I enjoy the game, however, as stated by many members of the community, as dedicated as we are, the more recent changes/patches/additions are slowly turning players away from PoE2. Thanks for everything that you do though. Keep up the good work GGG. Last edited by stevenb47#5330 on Apr 18, 2025, 5:27:30 AM

The end game is uninteresting and boring, with lots of glitches, but you improve the acts for the storyline))) which is played once.

fix the crashes. The game thankfully not full crashes my pc anymore so it will not brick my pc for nothing but sometimes in the middle of a map it freezes loads again and resets the whole map progress. And the Endgame is kinda boring atm so there is no incentive to play for long.

So lets keep the game slow, take 10 minutes to kill a rare, map layout got worse, game got slower, you are not allowed to use combos u want, make only 2-3 classes playable each patch. Nothing is fun, campaign too long and sucks balls, crafting is horrid, mapping is horrid, you guys just made one of the worst probable changes from 0.1 to 0.2, knew I should have waited til full release why would u think a company making arpgs for a living would have learned from previous mistakes. Make Jonathan play thru the campaign, no developer cheats on and force him to play each class, would love to see he likes the boring ass dumb game play if u don't play the broken class for the patch............
