I'm sorry but how does it take five hours to roll back to the previous patch?

The bad news is some changes can't be rolled back by "unpatching." If a change nuked player data, like items, skill levels, stashes or inventories, reverting the change with a script doesn't restore what's missing. In such a case, a full restoration of the game and all data is necessary, and those often take hours. I certainly hope that is not the case here, but it's starting to look like a possibility. A more favorable scenario would be GGG is taking the hard right and making sure whatever they roll out works at least as well as what we had before.

I think it's feasible someone whipped up a quick script that scoured the sql logs for the last delete operations and then reinjected that same data with a write query. But maybe they should have their DBA's look into how to automatically snapshot the database on DB shutdown. Would've been easier :p

Where is kurva DLSS?
From what I can see, the one-week vacation was good for all of you. Congratulations...
Oh boy, the current iteration of Path of Exile 2 is an absolute riot of fun! It’s hands down the pinnacle of Soulslike gaming—a genre-defining masterpiece that makes every other competitor look like a toddler’s coloring book! The monster variety? Unparalleled. The build diversity? A smorgasbord of choices so vast, you’d need a PhD in theoretical physics to optimize them all. And let’s not forget the piercing brilliance of the 0.2 patch spear builds—suddenly, every class in the game is a lancer extraordinaire! It’s like the developers took a dartboard labeled "RPG Archetypes" and threw a grenade at it. Absolute genius!

The boss interactions? Groundbreaking. Each one’s got more dialogue options than a choose-your-own-adventure novel written by a committee of stand-up comedians. I’ve never felt so alive during a fight where the boss’s opening move is "Surrender or Die," and my reply is "Hold on, let me check my passive tree for a loophole!" But alas, even perfection has its quibbles. The damage numbers? A bit too realistic for my taste. It’s like every enemy is made of tissue paper soaked in gasoline, while my character wields a lightsaber dipped in plutonium. Seriously, developers—if you’re listening—could you maybe halve player damage output and quadruple enemy health pools? I’m begging you! Otherwise, boss fights are over before the cutscene animation finishes loading. Where’s the drama in that?

And don’t get me started on the player density. The game’s so crowded, it feels like a Black Friday sale at the Apocalypse Mall. All I want is a solitary journey through Wraeclast, not a MMO-style conga line of randos stealing my loot and ruining my immersion. Honestly, I’d pay double for a strictly offline mode—no co-op, no multiplayer, just me, my spear, and the existential dread of facing a boss that can finally land a hit. Now that’s a challenge! Until then, I’ll be over here, reloading the same zone 17 times because the servers think "open world" means "chaos simulator." Cheers!
