They’ve confirmed 3.26 will release in June (at the earliest).

Which, presumably, means June 27th…

i really don't feel like joking in this matter but did they say which year?

No.

Come to think of it, I can't remember whether they said "3.26" or "Path of Exile 1 v3.26." Perhaps they're just feeling very bullish on the future of Path of Exile 2?

hmm.

poe2? is that the poe1 "feature creep" subversion branch that got legs and morphed into it's own game?

i don't know how ggg feels about it but jonathan seems to like the console compatibility, chris (afaik) was more the keyboard/mouse player.

at one point, seeing how ggg goes full "groundhog day" when it comes to design issues they already solved in poe1, i wished they united the versions again and took the best of both worlds.

they could remove console compatibility from poe1 ruthless and apply the poe2 socket tech, the client engine and poe1+2 content.

How about worst of both worlds. Oh wait...
This week announcement into June 6th release would be awesome, but I try to not get my hopes up

Yeah this is what I was thinking. Surely not much longer than that if it isn't Friday.

Surely.
To be honest I thought POE1 had been discontinued. When I look at POE1 in my Steam library it shows the Crucible banner/image. I assumed they were not updating the game anymore. I only checked the forums as I was wondering if they were planning a league at some point only to discover Settlers of Kalguur was still running! Its nearly a year since it was released. Fascinating.

So you thought the game hadn’t been updated since 3.21’s Crucible League despite having earned 37 challenges in 3.25’s Settler’s League..?

No. I stopped playing Kalguur as there was little to do. I never bothered to start the game as each time I looked at POE1 in my Steam library it showed the Crucible banner. I assumed that at some point after I stopped playing Kalguur they ended the league and the default league running was Crucible. As that was an old league I assumed they had abandoned development and the only way you could play POE1 was in Crucible. I also assumed that they would stop supporting servers at some point.

I have been playing other games. I was just nostalgic for POE1 and wanted to see if they might have been moving to POE2 as an update to POE1. But since looking at POE2 it continues to look like something I am not interested in.

Got my first probation in 12 years just 2 weeks ago, climate is rough these days.

I'm all up to speed, now, that's for sure. I'm a new man!
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.
