I'd say No, Thank You, to anything at all coming from PoE 2 to PoE 1. Keep them separate. I like the PoE 2 socket "system" less than I like having wet socks, or losing my car keys. You can have a bunch of six links, but you can't use those links anyway because the support gems choke all the variety out of builds and pigeonhole you into some stupid shit you don't want to do while at the same time reducing the amount of links you'll actually have. So yeah, the top-end is 5 linked support gems for each skill gem but in practice you'll probably never use all links. It's pointless. Unless that "sneak peak" with the originator is supposed to be "hearing from 3.26 in may". I expect some announcement (of an announcement) next week. If I'm right, that might mean announcement of the livesteam 1st week of june, livestream 2nd week and release week 3.
