Some of these comments sound as if they want TenCent to take on a bigger role at GGG with POE...
The last thing people want is for GGG to turn into a Blizzard. The least amount of corporate overlords interfering in the game, the better... TenCent asked to make POE 2 Early Access free in China, and GGG said no, they have to pay the same as everyone else in the world... While I am all for GGG implementing an innovative trading system, what worries me the most about automatic trades is bot farms buying up all the items before players have had a chance to buy items for themselves, and then jacking up the prices. I still think if they implemented the current trade system INSIDE the game as opposed to opening a web browser, that would definitely help and be a starting point. I wish they would expand on the POE 1 Console trading system that was already INSIDE the game, as it made it so much easier than having to use a website which is outside of the game... They could use the User Interface from the trade website, as it was better than POE 1 console's trade User Interface. I do think that having some sort of limit on automatic trades would have to be in effect, but how that would look, I am not sure. I just don't know how they could stop bots from buying items as soon as they are posted. But I also don't think everyone should be punished just because of botters... " Although gold could prevent bot traders someway, but it's too easy to get gold in poe2 now, just set another autotrade bot to buy tons of trash maps from trade 1 and trade to other bots. But in poe (at least 3.25), the only way to get gold is slain enemies or tightly follow the carry in maps (only in-screen characters could get extra gold from enemies slain by the carry), that's sure to waste tons of time. However, if item-to-gold vendor trade were prevented, the league start would be hell for sure. Seems there's still a long way for poe2 to reach the equilibrium of the economy system. |

One question I have now that I have also played the original POE is will we eventually see stuff like breaches etc in the various acts? In act one we have the zone with a ritual but then do not see another ritual til endgame. I know we now have wisps and strongboxes in the various acts but it would be nice to run into some of the other mechanics randomly showing up in zones as we level.

Ok GGG, It's 'next week'. Can we please get that preview of the new uniques now ? If the patch is intended for end of this week, it seems an appropriate time for it. Any later and the preview will get sort of pointless xD

Another thought which I and my friend had is how about adding something like scarabs to POE2 so if you really enjoy mechanic X you can add it to maps that don't have it already from a tower etc. Or something like the mechanic in one where you can pay chaos orbs or in 2 probably exalts to add a specific or random mechanic to a map. (It could even be interesting to have the ability to reroll the type of map you are going into so if you are sick of say Hidden Grotto you can try changing that map to a different one (orb of horizon)). We are also wondering why the orb of alteration is not in POE2.

I want to see Towers being spawned at random when you finish a map, like some sort of underground zone that spawns a "dungeon" which is the same as a Tower when you re-enter the same node.
That was we could have more overlap of content and Tower scarcity won't be a huge problem. it would lead to some crazy scenarios where you could actually get maps stacked with crazy amount of rarity, but GGG can cap the amount of the same tablets affecting a map. |
