Problem with making gold easy to solve is people and bots will legit just flip on faustus until the market is cooked

The thing is,. Regardless of how you set the prices, or how much gold you can farm, flipping and botting is already a problem. The same folks that have been doing that multi box farm for beasts? Yup, They do the same thing for gold farming. Those companies that can set up bots to farm any resource in any game? Yup, they do that here too.

Flipping on Faustus is going to happen no matter what, bots are written for everything.

Not once have I been asked what I do for my gold, or clarifications on any issue I've presented. This is why people stay away from these forums btw, voice and opinion, and get immediately attacked over it. I've been in this game for over 8 years, and spent thousands in support of it. You can see from my post history, just how little I prefer to interact here. To be clear, I am on the side that time & money does not warrant privilege, or right, or knowledge. I'm simply stating how long I've been around, and how far I stay away.

To be clear. I, unlike others, I have played this league for over a month now. It wasn't until after a month of play, and struggling with this that I bought my topic to the feed back forum, reluctantly. I have an atlas setup for gold farming, I run consistently T16.5 and T17's for gold farming. I've ran ROTAs, I've bought Gilded Allflames, (for the ridiculous expensive price they are). It wasn't until a month after doing all the "normal" game play opinion that's been repeatedly reiterated here, that I finally said I've had enough struggling with gold and how out of tune this burden is. I can't buy the materials I need to craft, while wanting to run settlers. Mind you, I am not maxing out settlers. I am talking about MAYBE four (4) plots, TWO (2) Disenchanters, and ONE (1) shipping lane. I've done all the things that Johnathan on camera said to do, and I would not be effected by the burden of gold. If you can't see how reasonable this ask is, than I'm sorry, but maybe you have self reflect, and to ask if maybe you are out of touch, or unreasonable.

Now,.. Numbers have been thrown around, "farm for 2 minutes make 100k gold, what's the problem?" I call bullshit. Others have called bullshit. Even if it were true, I would still be farming over 3-4 hours to maybe work on one craft, a craft that can easily fail because of the layers, upon layers, upon layers of RNG EVERY step of the way in a 20-30 step process. Still not being able to run settlers Harvester/disenchanters. You think that's not a problem, fine, say it. To repeatedly come back with the same argument and accusations that I don't want t farm gold is needles, presumptuous, and condescendingly opinionated. Especially when it's already been refuted multiple times.

I'm sorry I play the game at a higher level, and that I know and have the means to make a lot of currency. AGAIN not the top 1%, I AM FAR FROM IT. However that does not discredit my right to post feedback, and see if others feel the same, without being personally attacked, telling me who I am, how I play, and what I want, all based on assumption. Clearly there ARE others that feel the same. There have ASLO been post, that don't assume me my opinion, or my gameplay, that disagreeing with me, and that we've had productive back and forth, postings. So the argument that "I just want people to agree with me", is out the window. I welcome a debate from those that don't want t force their opinion as fact, and actually want to respond to what's presented. Not just repeat their own rhetoric.

Using Faustus is not about buying multiple inventories at once, this was a point lost in translation previously. It's also been said that "you don't have to use Faustus", "There's the old trading system". Point being, yes the trade site still exists, but it is not the same trade site we had before Faustus. Prices on the trade site have ballooned 20 to 30% over what you can buy at Faustus, and in all honesty 20-30% what they used to be before Faustus. I can buy 3000 fusings for one divine through Faustus, and less than 1100 on the trade site.
The point is, Faustus is a new iteration of gameplay in a game that thrives on innovating and adding new content, and the addition of Faustus HAS CHANGED THE GAME including the old trade system. The suggestion of going to use the trade site is like suggesting, "hey, why play Settlers League? Poe standard's always been there, Go play standard."
It's not why people play the game. You play for the new content.

Another point to be made regarding Faustus. This is not brand new. Faustus was introduced in Settlers, reiterated in Poe 2 and now in his third form in this league. As with any new content introduced in this game, we're at the point of maturing. What happens with maturity? The first iteration begins to take a new form. I am, I think, the first person who was posted on the subject of how the gold feels, but I can promise you I will not be the last. I am being narrowed into this 1% minority when honestly I am nowhere near the one per cent and there are a lot of players in my position who I'm sure in the next coming months or the next league will start voicing their opinion that the gold feels bad when you hit this level of game play.

I can almost guarantee you the gold system will be tuned to some extent.

Now in closing. I've been told by these same individuals that it's apparently MY JOB when posting in the FEEDBACK AND SUGGESTION forum, that I must present some kind of solution, or I'm "just crying to the devs", or "complaining for no reason". Because somehow presenting a solution is prerequisite to posting feedback. You know feedback for the paid team at GGG to consider and come up with a solution if THEY deem necessary, not the community. But hell, why not, I'm not gonna get paid for it, why not spend my time to find the solution the real bosses, a few forum goers approve of..

I guess I didn't realize I was posting in the FEEDBACK AND YOU MUST PRESENT A SOLUTION FORUM.

So here you go.

Solution One:
Make Gilded Allflames drop more frequently in more areas, or make other items able to increase gold drops in maps, WHEN YOU ARE PLAYING AT THE HIGHEST LEVELS. This is NOT the solution I would want, but a temporary fix. Allflames are just simply too rare and there for overpriced to be the only main source of gold increase. (And I'm sorry if you are not a TFT fan boy, ROTAs are simply NOT easy to come by, esp. as the league drags on. (hunting in global chat is obnoxious and and beyond tedious).

Solution Two:

Tune the gold at higher level Mapping better. Tweak it slowly and wait for FEEDBACK if I'm at such a higher level game play as pointed out, then why not allow more gold to flow in. Obviously I need it as do others at my level. Bot's and farms are not going to spend the time to ramp up hundreds or thousands of account to get to the level we are, they are going to stay at low levels and grind it out over time with tens of thousands of accounts.

Solution Three

Separate gold in to two currencies, one for the settlers town, oh I dunno Silver, and one for trading with Faustus lets say something like GOLD. Now you have two separate systems that can be tune independently of one another, and that allow your players to interact with all the content they desire. WOW!

Hopefully now, I've satisfied the status quo prerequisite to post feedback here.

I live by a simple rule:

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you,
Come at me condescending, disregarding, forcing opinion as fact, and you're going to get the same in return. Respect me, and I'll respect you. It's simple, and I believe anyone here would agree to such.
