Enough time has passed for DDoS excuses to have 0 worth. They don't even acknowledge it anymore and EU servers are just unplayable. This all started in 0.2, there were no issues prior.
Guess they don't care about losing players.

Decided to come back 3/4 weeks after connection problems started.
The same problems with EU servers still exist.
It's not DDoS, it's problems with the logic of the network infrastructure of this particular game.

Just logged in to check on my PoE2 account, update / optimize some settings & to my surprise, London, Frankfurt & Amsterdam are all spiking at 300-400ms every second.
I tried to play until one of them just spiked to 9999ms and crashed the game.
I'm running 1gbps ethernet connection, 5800x and an rt4070...
If this keeps up, it won't be pretty next week.
If you watch the videos they made in interviews they explain the problemis they are being DDOSED .. That means that some POE2 haters are so spiteful that they are trying to ruin your experience. There is only so much you can do to go around that and probably it will involve disabling SOME severs that they cannot protect.
I saw what they said. They also said they had mostly solved it by removing servers which were incapable of handling DDOS attacks...
That's not what's happening tho. There's no one playing & the servers are already on the brink of crashing.
dude they are crashign even with no one playign because of DDOS. DDOS will not appear as PLAYERS.. it is exactly overflowing the network buffers with trash that somewhat resemble basic POE2 traffic so simple networks filters cannot preemptively discard it.

Then Why I do nto get ANY problem in south america servers? If it was logic it would be spread equally all over.

+1.
I believe they just haven't been able to update/safeproof the servers they currently have in EU. Situation is exactly the same as it was in beginning of 0.2.

I think I gave u the answer for that to happen. Obviously I can't know the exact problem, but it could be a routing issue from ur ISP to the specific servers.
Every other game is running perfectly smooth. I have no issues in any other game, only PoE2 so ISP is fine. Not sure about what might be causing it in POE2 tbh.
Yeah because it's an issue between the ISP and PoEs servers. Obviously that doesn't happen with other games because they don't connect to those.
I'm not a network engineer, so I can't really say why it's happening more in PoE than it is in other games. I had issues like that in other games before tho, when PoE ran perfectly fine. (probably some network structure thing)
This is exactly the issue. I just logged in to OP's said servers, no problem on my end. I had ms spikes in 0.2 but i also had ISP issues as well. ISP fixed this issue at some point I don't when but now I'm fine.
During 0.2 when I was having issues, connecting to a VPN was solving my issue. No spikes no other problems. So if you are having issue it's not the servers being bad, it's your ISP having route issues to the game servers. Unfortunately you have to use VPN for a solution or your ISP solves it. I tried contacting my ISP, they didn't do anything because they did not understand anything. But looks like it solved now, testing for couple of days no issues.

Tbh, find this hard to buy. No other game has ANY issues. I doubt GGG has special servers that magically demand some magic bean from the ISP.
If 99% work, the 1% isn't right.

It's best for you to try a vpn connection and see if it solves spike issue. If it does, then yeah it's your ISP having issues routing to GGG's servers.

this seems to be random as fuck, i logged in 2 days ago and it was like shit, 200+ ms every couple seconds. Restarting the game fixed all the issues, i didn't change servers.
