Enable 32:9 Ultrawide - Black Bars in 2025? (Please!)
Lots of cope here, ultra wide screens are a problem when it come to multiplayer games. Saying "who cares if it doesn't affect you" is not seeing the whole picture. Think outside of the box and outside your bias please.

" Read the other posts. Many, including myself, brought up suggestions so that the game of those who play competetive are not effected. |

Yeah also the funny thing is currently it even renders and uses the performance!
Like if you have a 32:9 monitor you will render the sides too. There is a mod which changes the .dll file to remove the black bars. Like literally currently it overlays blackbars over the already rendered game. As already often stated 32:9 could just not be available in Races. But lets be real why is 21:9 available then if its such a huge advantage ? Why are there Racers playing 16:9 if its such a huge advantage ? Why in CS a competetive Shooter where you might think FOV is everything 32:9 is possible but most play 4:3 (competetive). Also it would not affect the game itself since the game already does render as said 32:9 and it just puts black bars over it. |

" read it again.. the problem is that monsters arent active until they were in your field of vision ultrawide screen shows monsters outside of the normal field of vision, that means you can kill them and they wont even try to fight back to combat the use of ultrawide screen ggg would increase monster agro range this would mean ppl playing on current max field of vision would be attacked before monsters entered they field off vision they would have no way of knowing that the monsters even exist it would lead to unfair true offscreen deaths from players unlike the "offscreen" deaths we have now, where the player always had the monster on his screen atleast once truely unfair deaths would kill the game for most of the players |

I partly agree but still - stupid argument since the game already renders everything and you can just install a mod to display everything.
