Radiant Grief does not ignite, only hits enemies with fire/flammability

As the title says, Radiant Grief, the item that is supposed to guarantee an instant and constant ignite on enemies in your presence, as clarified by the wording: "Enemies in your presence ARE IGNITED as though dealt 100 base fire damage", does not actually ignite, and only hits enemies with like 3-4% of flammability each tick, that then ignites an enemy for 1 milisecond, which then resets back to 0.

According to the specific wording for mechanics:
Ignite - Is an ailment that deals fire damage over time and lasts for 4 seconds by default - Which means that the item is already bugged/not working correctly, as the ignite should be constant and instant per the item wordding.

The "as though dealt 100 fire damage" is supposed to be the ignite's magnitude, NOT just a regular hit that slowly starts ticking up the new flammability mechanic that not a single person enjoys.

"Effects which don't Hit but Ignite targets as though they did (such as from Incinerate or Ignited Ground) also inflict Flammability, but are not able to ignite targets until the target has 50% Flammability."

100 fire hit is not magnitude, is the value to calculate the ignite damage wich is nothing (20% of 100 so 20 fire damage), you're not killing stuff only with radiant grief ;(

"The chance for a hit to ignite a target is determined by the total magnitude of flammability on the target, including the amount added by that hit."

"Fire damage from hits contributes to the magnitude of ignite, so hits dealing more fire damage inflict stronger ignites"

"Enemies in your presence ARE IGNITED as though DEALT 100 BASE FIRE DAMAGE"

- the item does not have a CHANCE to ignite, it is supposed to be a GUARANTEED ignite
- the item is supposed to deal ignite damage based on the hit being 100 damage, WHICH CONTRIBUTES TO MAGNITUDE OF IGNITE
- the item is not supposed to apply flammability

And no, in previous patches you actually were able to kill enemies with just radiant grief.
Effects which don't Hit but Ignite targets as though they did (such as from Incinerate or Ignited Ground) also inflict Flammability, but are not able to ignite targets until the target has 50% Flammability."

No need to argue with me, it's pretty clear in patch notes....

You applying 50% flammability within 8 seconds with radiant grief only?

Maybe put in any sort of thought.

Ignite is a status effect.
Helmet says that it ignites enemies that are near/in presence, does NOT say that it ignites only if the flammability reaches 50%.

No need to argue with me, it's pretty clear on the item itself.... hence why the post is in the bug report section, as either the wording on the item should get changed, or the interaction works incorrectly at the moment. In both cases, bug report.

You using the item the correct way? You know... equip so that enemies in your presence are instantly ignited, like it was the entire time the item's been in the game? Like the item wording suggests? Or do you perhaps think that it should get changed at least wording or interaction-wise?

I used it a lot with an amazon gas arrow, they will probably change the wording to make it more clear or maybe not since they already told us the change that also applies to that helmet. No more insta ignites basically, there's flammability first.

It's not a change in the helmet but in the fire damage itself, in 0.3 it no longer has a chance to ignite but applies flammability, so everything that deal fire damage or as though no longer ignites.

Radiant Grief: Deal 100 fire damage to enemies in your presence would probably be better, agree on that.
Even in "Fire" it does not mention it working differently with guaranteed ignites, and that's the issue.

Sure, it may be written somewhere in the patch notes.
But it's not written on the item, not written on ignite itself, and not written on fire either.
this
This a 100%.

You can't have an item that has worked in a specific way (As it actually is worded) since it was introduced, then fundamentally change how it works, keep the wording and reference to a change in the patchnotes.

I don't even understand how there's a discussion about this, change the wording or fix the bug if the new mechanic is just a miss caused due to the changes described in the patchnotes.

Yup exactly that, the description says that EVERYTHING in your presence IS IGNITED and it's not working rip GAS arrow.
Hope they fix this, happens the same with flame wall, everything that touches it should be instantly ignited.
