Let us recombine some currencies with the recombinator. (CURRENCY SINK)
Like at least make 1 greater exalted and similar others by combining 3 of the normal ones, maybe don't allow us to do the same for perfect version, just for greater, or maybe for perfect it would require 9 greater instead of 3, maybe 6 greater, for a total of 18 or 27 respectively (for each perfect orb).
Edit, more and more i am thinking that my idea is very interesting, as the league progresses, the exalted orb price skyrockets (downwards). With this idea, people would actually have a use for it, 1 great exalted = 3 exalted orbs, 1 perfect exalted orb = 27 greater (takes 3 stacks of 3x to make, also maybe let us recombine in BULK?) Last time i've checked one divine was over 220 ex, it increases by 20 to 50 each day lol tl;dr recombining 9 or 27 total (27 seems better imho) currencies into the higher tiers would be a huge currency sink because people would find a big reason to consume it. I am on edge about this myself,
Existing design exists so that people would play around and spend the low tier craft mats while they play campaign and not feel like they are wasting resources. However, these craft mats can still be used in endgame because low tier craft orbs can still roll high, so its a bit weird, and low tier craft mats are still used in trade. I'd say 3 for 1 ratio to up the tier seems reasonable, it would also help stabilise the market (greater chaos orb = 3 chaos orbs). I think they should get rid of crafting currency tiers altogether. Using orbs on items should generally result in mod tiers depending on level and quality. It is absolute bullshit to even allow low tier rolls on high level gear in the first place...

" Agree, with that said, in my world, we could use 9, or in the worst case scenario, 27 exalteds to make 1 perfect exalted orb. And tbh the multiplied cost would be necessary because of currency inflation. Otherwise crafting would be way too easy/we would get godly gear too fast and get bored. You can already do this ingame.
Go to the currency exchange and you can exchange X amount of exalt orbs for 1 greater exalt orbs. If its the price your not satisfied about then the problem is that their too rare not that the mechanic to exchange them doesnt exist. |
