If its the price your not satisfied about then the problem is that their too rare not that the mechanic to exchange them doesnt exist.

The currency exchance is not a currency converter.
It's trade.
You cannot buy what nobody is selling, and the prices will be as asinine as players are insane, from the absurd rarity.

The higher currencies should be less rare, and available earlier in game, and the most obvious way to make that happen is to allow currency conversion that is actually just conversion, like with runes, not trade.
