Trading needs a Divine Cap

I was on the trading channel last night and noticed a now a guy was asking 2800 Divine for. Others were like 400-600 Divine. There needs to be a cap in place on pricing. 100 Divine is plenty for gear, unless you buff the Divine drop rate, which needs to happen anyways. Asking price on gear is totally out of control.

Indeed prices are crazy, but also no one seems to be buying. Im just trying to sell one decent bow for 20d so I can have more currency to craft more, but no one wants it ;/
hahaha gl with that.

I traded 3000 divine this week and you wanna stop me?

Please.

This has to be worst take of the month by a mile

"100 div is plenty"

Says who? So if I get a god roll item and I want to sell it, I can only sell for the price you arbitrarily though of? lol

If you cap prices arbitrarily like this, all that would happen is that people would start trading privately or something like that

Raising drop rates won't do anything either. First because drop rate of div is already quite high, second because the market would just adjust, third because there's no sink for that
I agree that trading in general needs some sort of cap. I made a different post about this, but my suggestion would be to create a merchant with a default conversion rate of exalt to divines. This would allow for a myriad of benefits for casual players while allowing for expendable wealth for extreme players with all the extra time.

higher tier gear would get cheaper as the league matures, and more benefits

Horrible take.

Why does it need a cap? Just because there exists items that are so rare that you cant afford them then it should be removed for everyone else?

You dont need that 2800 divine item to play the game, and I would assume that the 2800 divine item is probably only 5% better then a 100 div item. Thats just how much prices skyrocket when you start min/maxing. Also one guy asking for 2800div doesnt mean that anyone is actually paying 2800div.

If someone found or crafted an item that is so rare that they believe its worth 2800div and someone else is willing to pay that then that is fine. It in no way prevents you from playing the game, its completely irrelevant to you since you would never buy that item anyway. If the item is that rare and you forced a 100div cap on trading then it wouldnt get traded for 100div anyway.

Yeah, except that's absolutely not a benefit guy. As demand for high quality gear rises, prices should go up. That's how markets work.

Like what is the problem at the moment? If you don't want to see 100d+ listings, then filter them out of your searches for Christ's sake.

There's plenty of <10d trades available for new and casual players; if you want ultra-premium items then put the work in.

bad take on trade capping

why roll anything/make godly items if buyer literally couldn't pay if they wanted to.

please make sense thx
bruh?!
what comes after divine?? so if a thing is 2800 div?? how many mirrors??
what if everyone just set a price in ex then (652400 exalted orb)??? wouuld your head explode hehe :P
or just be like hey ez! 3 maps we got eeeem ez pc lemon yea u know...! dumb question need dumb answers xD
but yeah why not put a cap on it xD
if anything it should just get transferred to the equivalent value one tier higher but then again??
if one puts up and item for 2 divs?? there would be nothing in between!?? then no item could be sold for 2,1 div??
hahaha xD bru its the ''league of crafting'' get Craaafting :P

know what base u need! 20 maps after u got 10-20 clean white bases u can do with whatever?? PT it if no t1 IPD do a PA if that didnt help Alt+F4 come back

dont craft to sell
craft to wear
those who got the currency do the craft themself?? unless its a 10/10 perf rolled 6 mod item??? gitgud fyi ;)

another tip for the goobs underbid the lowest after price check if u want a chance of selling xD hahaha
