" The numbers affect what notables they change into. And since in this build we don't take any notables in radius anyways, the number doesn't matter. Just get any of them that gives Tecrod and you're good. Also, if you want to gamble, you can try using a cranium on it, which will add an effect to travel nodes in radius. Note that this has a chance to destroy the jewel (not sure if the first slam does but better be safe than sorry). Subsequent ones add lines affecting small nodes and notables, so you can ignore them as we aren't taking any in radius anyways. |

Okay! I finally got to use the staff and core build with a 90% damage reduction to all elemental dmg and currently level 87. Unfortunately, I feel extremely squishy. Granted, I only have 3,700 life and I'm working on getting closer to the 5000 in your POB but I'm getting 1 shot sometimes in 6mod T15 maps and chunked so fast in white T15 maps that life regen doesnt help. I expected to be tankier with that much damage reduction to elemental damage but maybe I really just need that extra HP (I havent found a single ring with % life + armour applies to ele dmg, even if I drop the spirit which I dont need since I can equip CoEA/CoC/ToN without it). Edit: Damage is great though, I just feel very glass cannon right now

" I'm quite curious how you managed to fit in all spirit reservation skills without spirit from rings. Do you have them on your body armour? If so I wouldn't recommend doing that, since body armour is a big source of armour with our ascendancy nodes and notables. But I'd also look at how much armour you have instead of the damage reduction shown on the tooltip. Tooltip damage reduction is not really a good indicator for tankiness as it often over-estimates how well you defend against damage. Armour is good against small hits and not large hits, so it will make sense that you will die to one shots. Perhaps you can get a ring that doesn't have armour apply to elemental damage and switch it out for something else like armour %? Also going from 3700 life to 5000 life is definitely a huge defensive boost. |

Getting the right mods on the staff is _way_ too RNG for this to even be worth the time of day, tbh.

do you just use elemental weakness in weaponset 2 or do you use in weapon set 1?

" The staff, un-revealed, actually has two variant. 2 prefix 1 suffix, or 2 suffix 1 prefix. Only the 2 prefix 1 suffix version can get the staff used in this build. (scattering calamity and spell damage per life are both prefixes, whereas chance for 2 additional spell projectile us a suffix) Also you can use omen of abyssal echo to increase your odds of getting desired mods. But yeah I can see why it may be difficult to get now, since many people have bought up all the low priced staffs. When I just started making the build the staffs were 1-10 ex each un-revealed. Is there any viable alternative to using the Grip of Kulemak rings ? They dont even show up in trade search atm. If you have any suggestions please let me know, Thank you

" Yes, an alternative is to use ventor's gamble. Just get one with enough spirit for your reservation, and good life and rarity. We are using veil of the knight so don't care about resistances, so you can get one with good life, spirit, and rarity rolls for extremely cheap. It's just going to be a bit less damage and survivability compared to kulemak rings. |

Hey Mate, saw this and thought I had to give it a try and it is such funny to play!
Definitely deserve all the praise yourself and the others that put this monster together!!! My only question is, is there a limit on Cast speed at which point becomes diminishing returns? |
