I absolutely hate these slowing effects.

They are everywhere.

Chilling Ground / Temporal Chains in 70% of maps, especially when juicing for rarity its 80% in maps.

Slow bubble + hinder + chilling ground rares? Really?

Add some weird stunner rares and you'll go absolutely insane. I hate it.

That's it, that's my feedback. I hate playing those affixes. They don't feel particularly "challenging", they just feel ass. Complete ass. Everytime i go into a map with 0 slows it feels like a game, it feels at least good.

But having those in most maps is just. so. ass. The slows are way too potent, theres way too many of them. I don't like it. Especially since i play melee. The mobs standing on the stupid goddamn chilling ground makes me want to SCREAM.

And 90% of them are avoidable in the map. Typical pebcak.
There's a rune that has 40% less effect of curses you can put in chest armour and % less effect of slows on your character on the tree, and % less effect of chill as well.

You can get by with a silver charm for the occasional temporal bubble rares but when a map has temp chains or chilled ground I think you need a persistent way of dealing with it like I mentioned above, or you're going to be reforging a ton of maps because curse/chill affixes seem to be quite common.

As a side benefit you also do not need as much elemental resistance overcapped to deal with the elemental weakness maps if you use the % less effect of curses, not to mention it helps against every mob that curses you in general.

Yeah, not _nearly_ enough. I'm using the unique one and having a tight maps with the floor being 85% chilling ground ain't a thing i'm happy about. Come on now. :D

And i'm not saying they are not "handleable" or you can't play around them. I'm saying that i hate them. I don't like playing around them.

Go into your house and throw a bunch of legos on the ground. Just leave them there. Everywhere. All the time.

YOU WILL step on them barefoot and it will piss you off.

"BuT ToRr jUsT wEaR SocKs oR bOoTs. YoU caN mOstlY aVoId tHem."

Yes, you're right. But what if there would be a lot less legos on the ground or better yet, none at all?

It's a feedback forum, if you're happy with the slows being the way they are - cool, good on you. I'm not. I feel like they aren't bringing anything interesting to the game, they feel very annoying. Not challenging, annoying. I still clear T16-18 maps with fully juiced everything but the fact the remains when i get hit with that temporal chain + chilling ground it just absolutely degrades my enjoyment.

I'm not dying (too much at least) but it feels ass. Especially for meleee. It's not that bad on my minion witch (woah, big surprise) but on my warrior when i suddenly go Slow-Mo mid-leap i just get borderline tilted.

You know you don't have to step on the chilled ground, right?
Tell that to the goddamn boss doing the zumba dance in the middle of 8x8 patch while i'm a melee player. :(.

Yes, i'll wait for them to come off it which, again, makes it not challenging. Just annoying.

Ye i use most of those but in some cases there just comes a point where it feels a tad too much. I do have the curse reduces which is nice and it definitely helped.

I'd like to see more something interesting. I feel like ignite ground is a 0-factor now, remember that?

Hell, i'd even rather play with mana-siphon ground than chilling ground. D:

Yes, it really is enough, I have not even realized a map has chilling ground on it since I started using one.

Temp chains is really easy to dodge, and even if it does hit silver charm ignores it for a bit and reduced effect of curses or other similar defenses makes it pretty minor the few times it does hit you.

The only way silver charm isn't enough for chilling ground is if you're taking a nap between packs. Charges refill quickly if you are actively killing things, and the 3-4 second (depending on quality) duration is plenty to let you kill enough to refill.

I used to hate chilling ground maps too, and then I put on a silver charm and never noticed the mod again. It's just a free mod now.

Yes, it's a public feedback forum, so you're going to get responses to it. You're also posting a complaint about a problem that already has an ingame solution, and one that has been posted on this forum MANY times.
You're right about the new passive tree offering many debuff reduction nodes. My build can reduce slow debuffs all the way to zero. But overall, these annoying mechanics feel like a "drive-the-tiger-to-swallow-the-wolf" approach—band-aid solutions added specifically to balance players who are too fast and too powerful.
