Boss on every map = SUX
" Hi, im a person who doesnt exist apparently lol I preferred rare icons (thats where all the loot is), and bosses being somthing I went out of my way to do. Having bosses on every map sucks. I dont want to fight bosses every 3 seconds. Most sessions I dont even fight any boss at all, if theres one on a map i like ill do all the content i want then wipe the node with a T1 stone (bye bye boss) and blast that to progress to the next map. Next time i log on to play im going to unspec my whole boss skill tree so i flatten the bosses - i shouldnt have to work around content like this. |

" I played PoE1 since like 2013. In PoE1 you only need to kill a boss once to progress through the atlas, and most strategies involve just clearing a map or only a certain mechanic without touching the boss. Plus, bosses in PoE1 aren't designed in a way that their hits ignore most defenses except for ES for some stupid reason. |

Only boss I've had problems with in tier 16s is bahlak the sky seer, but I'm an off meta melee build so it's to be expected since he's hella range focused, though to be fair it feels excessive that he camps in his tornado for like 20 or 30 seconds throwing strong attacks out.
Personally I like the requirement to kill the boss rather than the rares since I don't have to chase down rares (reduced map size helps a lot either way now), in my case especially the rare abyssals are much much harder for me to kill than the bosses (my best bet is to kill them as they spawn). Fortunately for me though if there's 3 giga roided abyssal rares that spawn I can just skip them haha (off meta melee is brutal but fun haha) |
