Content outside of fully juiced maps feels very unrewarding.
" Abyss works fine, but an abyss with a breach on top of it, no no no, this is not my version of the game. Mechanics are fine, but there's too many monsters in all of them, except the one that scales by how many monsters there are to begin with. Yes yes yes. I proport, that all of my previous statements you have witnessed, are completely null and void. As I have stated; there can be dynamic changes (not actually sure what this means, or how it will be implemented, but whatever if it gets my point across) to monster density and functions in these mechanics that do not affect progression or juiced content (which I will not bother to elaborate on). This is basically a summarization of what you have posted thus far. Brilliant, honestly. My mind has ascended. Looking forward to 0.4, when everyone will quit a week in because GGG tried to fix a sentiment instead of a problem. Last edited by AverBeg7#1689 on Oct 4, 2025, 8:19:19 AM

" except they literally just did this. ritual has less mobs breach has less mobs abyss has less mobs literally everything just got smashed with a less mobs/less pack nerf. every piece of content just got all their density cut in half or more. |

" while you are correct.... i hate to break it to people who still havent realized it yet but. not even t15 juiced feels rewarding anymore. with the map and mob packs and number of mobs being cut in half. you now need to run 2-3 t15 juiced maps, to get what you were getting.... MAYBE... from one juiced t15. this is of course on the new nodes. and not double juiced legacy nodes.. which even those still dont get what they used to |

" Untrue. They reduced monster density in lower tiers, and in specifically open layouts. They did not nerf the mechanics. Besides, nobody has even tested these changes. My bet is that they are not healthy for progression, and they will cause problems. I am not a fan of these changes by any means. I honestly believe GGG has bended to the will of a dishonest sentiment coming from players who struggle with progression, who actively want to see the top end be completely levelled to the ground, so that they can reach it without working for it. This sentiment was mixed in with "make combat engaging"/ "improve visual clarity", simply to pull at their heart strings and to muddy the posts to gain support from people who are not wise to feedback forum tactics. The sad part is, this will not lead to the changes that either groups want, because GGG will take a middle-ground, ruin the real players fun by gimping progress, and the people who suggested it don't even have their ideal game because they were not being honest. I do not believe these posts are genuine at all, and even the most popular post with the most replies, I expressed this, and in another post, I clearly showed that the OP of the previous (most popular) one, was completely disingenuous and using AI to break down arguments while supplying purposely skewed data. Here is the thread where I clearly dismantle his disingenuous data; https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3660754 This is the thread that foreran the reduce monsters movement he posted; https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3855273 You can clearly see that in both threads he uses the exact same tactic. He posts inflammatory content, uses AI to condense the discussion and augment his reasoning, and posts obviously cherry-picked examples in the most cursed scenarios he can muster. In the big thread, I could not cut through the discussion to show this, but in the small one where we are one on one, it is easy to do. Last edited by AverBeg7#1689 on Oct 4, 2025, 9:37:16 AM

" this you? im one of the people in trade with a rarity bot running 6 man partys on corrupted deli maps with 100+ rarity maps, double and non double juiced. and i and every single person of my 20+ freindslist all observed exactly what i stated. and you refute it immediately, and rant about some other topic no one cares about cant say one thing, and do another. |

" They observed it, because there is less monsters in open layouts. You are not wrong, you are just wrong about how it is working. |

" i never mentioned anything about how anything works in my replys in this thread. are you just a hypocrite? are you just making things up in your head? or are you mistaking me for one of your other post replies with 30 paragraph responces? *edit v considering you responded within 2 minutes to both of my posts in here, and then are afk for an hour on my third, ill assume you are indeed one of those things i just stated. have a nice day. In poe 1 we have deterministic juicing, that don't exist in poe 2. We love it in poe 1.
In poe 1 we got rid of "Sextants" because they made it complicated and cucumbersome to juice maps. Poe 2 has towers which is about 100 times worse than sextants (I'm not joking). In poe 1 we loot the maps we want to run and we run them. We can target maps and we love it. In poe 2 you are forced to traverse a retarded atlas you can't even search nor filter in, on top of that you are also forced to run stupid layouts that makes your skin crawl. Probably in a year or two GGG will realise it's a shitty setup and they'll remove the towers. Followed by another 1-3 years and they'll remove the atlas because they realise it sucks ass. When that happens we will all be there to say "I told you so". The sad part is, if they just learnt from poe 1 they wouldn't have to go through this phase at all, we could just skip it. Or if they just listened to us experienced poe 1 players |

GGG is the kind of annoying dev that takes what would be the minimum acceptable level of something, and tries to make it the maximum achievable with total minmax.
It's a thing of design philosophy. It could be made the case that a default unjuiced map was at the minimum acceptable level, then juicing pushed above that. Instead they left a default map far below the minimum, and set up the game that you had to uber juice just to get to the minimum. It's honestly ridiculous. The level of looting we got with 2, maybe 3 overlapping towers with tablets and a modded waystone is the level of looting that should be happening with a white waystone on a map with no tablets. Juicing should be something that feels optional because the default is already satisfactory. Instead the default is a joke and juice beyond juice feels obligatory. " i agree mostly. ideally, the default would be JUST below satisfactory, instead. why? so that it pushes the player to want to juice. it defines the clear line of what juice will get you, and what not juicing will not get you. it rewards the players who go above and beyond, and gets the people who dont, just under that level of being satisfied to push them towards it to explore their character more indepth, and the end game more. giving a baseline smiley face of loot satisfaction on white/barely blue maps to players means they dont push the bounderies of what they are capable of, or what the game is capable of showing/giving them. this is made perfectly clear by all the people complaining that they cant juice towers and run subpar maps that are 3/4 modded, and get the same benefit as the people who actually 6 mod for the most part. the game does a terrible job of making that line clear. and it needs to make it clear, what will and will not, reward the player for their efforts. if running solo is made better like it just was, where a ton of people have been saying their loot is better now solo... you cant then penalize the people in parties, running actual juice with less loot by all the nerfs they just introduced. you blur the line of where satisfaction, and reward, and effort, and juice and all of the adjecctives inserted here... are... and it turns off any player who remotely takes your game, their character, and the endgame seriously. seen as alot of the vet/top/no life players are leaving for the league. because you just erased the line you had for 3 patches, and drew it somewhere else in the middle of a league. and right now.. realistically, that line you just redrew, is completely invisible. it needs to be a black, straight line, with clear direction and sound logic. |
