Finally go and fix your game

"

Open beta access by definition is free and available to everyone. Closed beta access is for a chosen group that either were picked or paid for it, and is 99% of the time under NDA.

This game is available(open) to everyone, so as a beta test it should be free, but it's not. Just because you have been indoctrinated into your skewed perception by the current day gaming industry doesn't mean you're right.

Also, this is a feedback forum. Why exactly are you trying to silence feedback?

What?
Game is in early access. It is not open beta. You're making up things.
GGG decided it's gonna be paid ea because they can.
Just as you can wait till it's free, after the release.

BETA. Repeat after me, BETA.

If you think you found a bug, report it in the bug section instead of whining about how a game in BETA has bugs.

He's giving some early access feedback in the early access feedback forum.

If you don't want to read feedback you must have to ask yourself why are you here?

This board is for early access feedback.

You need to learn the difference between whining and feedback.

"Finally go and fix your game"

"This is getting ridiculous."

"What in the world are you doing instead of bugfixing your game??"

"The rest of the game doesnt look better. Its so annoying how buggy everything still is."

That's whining, that's clearly someone that doesn't enjoy being a tester.

"You can still get stuck during kulemak fight and die."

That's almost feedback, but sounds more like a badly written bug report. Needs more detail to be of any use.

"Kulemak still has no health bar when you respawn."

That's a bug report.

Edit:

Here are current examples of feedback.

https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3864570 -- I don't agree, but this is feedback.

https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3856965 -- This is a bit of whining, but with useful specific details to it.

https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3864497 -- Again, more on the complaining but is specific and fairly useful feedback.

https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3864569 -- Short, but still feedback.

Stop trying to gatekeep people's feedback and grow up, man.

The feedback for this thread is 'performance is bad' and issues with the Kulemak fight. That is a bug. Performance is bad. It is what this forum is for.

The intensity in which you are arguing with post after post here is not right and you are not coming across well.

No, I think I know the terms because I am a software developer. Every single developer that chooses to use the EA model is choosing to use their players as testers because... and here's the important part, THAT'S WHAT IT IS.

There's no silent approval, it's 100% what you are signing up for when you choose to play a game in EA or any other testing stage.

Here, let's see what Valve (the ones that first starting using the term Early Access) has to say: https://store.steampowered.com/earlyaccessfaq/

I'll draw your attention to the side where is says "As a gamer.... HELP TEST AND REPORT BUGS"

You paid to be a beta tester, end of story. It wasn't hidden, it was told to you from the very beginning. If you don't want to be a tester, then wait until full release.

Sure thats nice and all, but what if you report bugs, they dont appear in known Buglist. Bugs dont get fixed that get reported. Whats the point of reporting Bugs when reporting Bugs has no effect.

Furthermore, in the Bug Area in the Forum you barely see GGG staff commenting. They dont try to confirm bugs, they dont try to clarify bugs. Nothing.
I mean sure you can test some things internally, but if you try to clarify with the players you get a way better image of the bugs.
This game is 100% going to launch in this exact state with more junk on top.

They will never design anything that is new, this is poe 1 with worse performance.

It feels awful to have bought the bs spouted early this year and to be left with such a haywire mess that is clearly no priority to fix.

Even complaining and whining is feedback. Its just the wording thats different..I can write it without that. And explain why fixing bugs is better than adding new things on top without fixing old bugs.
But im tired of this. It does not feel like anything is changing. Its almost a year at this point!!

I also write quiet a lot of feedback here some more objective some less objective. But ypu have to realise everything is feedback. It might not be good feedback, nut nonetheless it is feedback.

And the 2 Kulemak things you mentioned are Bugs that got reported 1 or 2 days after 0.3 release. And THEY ARE NOT FIXED

so what is the point of bug reports when they get mostly ignored??
