Can you finally just remove Delirium Fog
Its asked so many times. Its just bullshit.
In my opinion delirium should be completely removed (just my opinion), but the fog is just objectively bad. Many thing sin POE2 rely on visuals. Seeing AOEs, seeing enemies, seeing attacks. Delirium Fog hinders this to a huge degree. Furthermore i dont want to stare at a grey map. In the late game of the endgame we have delirium on basically every map. This is fucking annoying. " This is exactly why the fog exists, it's supposed to make things harder to see. So this argument, when you use it, makes GGG do a high-five in their office and they say "yeah! we did it!". So don't use this argument it will get us nowhere and it will only reinforce GGG in their opinion that they've made a good job with the fog :) " This is the correct argument to use. The fog makes high-end mapping boring, because everything looks the same. The game is beautiful and artistically diverse for the first 20 hours of the league, only to become dull, monochrome and uniform for the next 15 weeks... |

not to mention that deli fog also reduces the frame rate by like 20-40 fps

+1 big time. Gorgeous game just ends up looking bland and dingy through all of endgame because of deli fog on every map.

well the issue is you're opting into delirium.
Yes, they could tone it down a tiny bit.. but it's not a mistake, this is very intentional. Most importantly, we have been using delirium in POE 1 for years, they have no desire to change much about it. |

" Source: I pulled it out of my backside. OP is completely right, of course. The most damning point is that GGG artists spent years creating the most beautiful ARPG on the market, and then all but enforced an endgame system that turns it all into a trip through Mordor while tanking the framerate. It really is time to fix this. Make the Delirium effect togglable, or create an alternative that doesn't make the game look and play like shit. Last edited by t0lkien#7048 on Oct 4, 2025, 9:44:24 PM

" If there was an alternative to instilling (that gave equal benefits) then no one would run Delirium. |

" This is exactly what I said, you just didn't care to read it all. |

" That's not true, there will be delirium only drops, they just aren't in the game yet because almost nothing is in the game yet :( |
