Can you finally just remove Delirium Fog
" Players are heavily incentivized to instill maps with delirium. I think it's fair to say that the average player's main goal in end game is to maximize their waystones, isn't it? Anyone who wants to accomplish this is now faced with perpetually dulled out graphics, monotonous sound effects, and framerate drops on a game that already struggles with performance issues. Not to mention, incentivizing players to run delirium on every map almost defeats the purpose of putting so much effort into the graphics engine of an otherwise visually gorgeous game. I don't mean this in an argumentative or offensive way, but to tell someone their issue is that they are opting into something that the game is strongly incentivizing them to do is somewhat of a null point that doesn't lead anywhere. You can continue to backtrack using that logic. "Well, your issue is that you're opting into playing the game in the first place." The main point is, it seems that the majority of players actively dislike delirium fog, for a variety of different reasons. I personally wish it would just be removed all together or there would be an option to turn it off. It accomplishes nothing but making endgame feel more repetitive and monotonous than it needs to be. Sadly I do agree with you in that I highly doubt they're going to do anything about it at this point. But who knows, they did make a great change to the trading system after 10+ years. |

More like they have to juice the living hell out of things, because otherwise you literally get nothing out of maps. Try running solo T15s with no MF or quantity: You barely even see exalts drop, let alone divs.
GGG has a hard-on for forcing you through maximum misery to receive even the smallest scraps of rewards. The average player makes way more off simply running something like Temple of Chaos or being a Hideout Warrior than actually playing the core game. |
