Anticipation of Loot Apocalypse 2
" It's really freaking sad to see people doing ggg's job for them when they aren't even getting paid for it. General discussion gaming forums are almost always a cesspit of ignorance and trolls.

" I´m ending up with 50 graft wombs and have 0 of the others and I drop like every 5-10 maps 1 of the other wombs. I think they increased the Graft womb droprate and reduced the others overall. |

" Lol. Strawman harder. Lmao. POE2 should be the ruthless vision experience and POE1 should be the zoom power fantasy sandbox to capture both audiences.

" Not a strawman at all. I've been around a long time. I've seen this complaint over and over and over and over again. It's always the same. A person who refuses to learn to craft, or never crafts, will almost without fail ALWAYS never craft....no matter how much materials they might get from leagues. You can see this directly in the complaints that are almost always made. Whether its a high loot league or a low loot league. The complainers generally have no concept of crafting their own gear and ONLY care about how many divs they have to buy things on the market, and how much those items cost. That's it. Not enough loot? It's purely because they haven't dropped divs and can't buy 5div+ items. Lots of loot? Still complaining, only this time about prices being too high and GGG needs to do something. Rinse. Repeat. For years. And you bet I blame the players. There is PLENTY of loot, even now. Is there less loot than possible previous leagues? Sure. But still PLENTY. It's a mental game that is purely a self-inflicted feeling, unrelated to ACTUAL loot and progressive power. The ONLY times when "not enough loot" was true were the few times in history where sustaining maps themselves was almost impossible. That's about it. Thanks to Kirac and our atlas tree, this is no longer ever going to be an issue. Starting anew....with PoE 2 Last edited by cowmoo275#3095 on Nov 12, 2025, 8:22:42 PM

- ACTUAL loot is worse than ever, there is no imagination required here
- Div/hr strats can now be measured instead as chaos/hr or alch/hr strats - You can't craft without materials or do you count transmutation and augmentation orbs as some "high end" currency? - Related to previous point, lower end crafting was stuff like essence spamming on fractured pieces, and now even essences are hard to get because a stupid large laggy purple blob eats half of your map - By "learning crafting" do you mean appeasing the RNG gods since both POE1 and POE2 crafting are 20+ steps of gambling with horrible RNG? - I'll give you a few divs of essences to spam on fractured pieces, they all turn up horrible tier mods that can't be redeemed through other methods, what have you "learned" from this experience? Virtually everything was nuked from orbit, the large laggy purple blob eats up most of the rest, your scarab investment is irrelevant, and you wonder why your kingsmarch mappers get more currency from the same map that you try running yourself. Whatever, I give up, you guys will be apologetic for the worst treatment. Last edited by mnieradko#6070 on Nov 12, 2025, 8:29:23 PM

" This is still the same strawman, but in long format. 40c or 20c divines would make more people craft. You cannot argue this. The fact that there would still be people around who just hoard more divines and still refuse to engage with crafting part of the game is irrelevant. POE2 should be the ruthless vision experience and POE1 should be the zoom power fantasy sandbox to capture both audiences.

" Even in Harvest league people refused to craft with the mechanic and instead sold the crafts, buying the items they wanted crafted instead lol. The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

" This does not refute what I said. For each example of someone refusing to engage with craft on principle there would be an example of someone starting to engage with craft if materials very more abundant and they didn't feel like they burned hours of progression on a single roll. POE2 should be the ruthless vision experience and POE1 should be the zoom power fantasy sandbox to capture both audiences.

How does it not refute what you said? Harvest was easily the craziest crafting league. There were guides for special crafts, it was extremely forgiving with the "remove x, add y" crafts, and crafts would be itemized and available for later use. It was basically an item printer and the group of people we're talking about still didn't craft with the mechanic. I was active on TFT at the time so I know this from experience.
There have been other crazy currency leagues like Affliction and frankly, we don't have the data on that. You're working on assumption as much as anyone here, so I'm not sure why you are so adamant about it. You yourself are a, lets say, casual player, so I'm not sure what experience you base this strong stance on anyway The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.
