It's just all too slow.

Game is not too slow - your character is... and campaign is just too long.
Funny thing about dodge roll: In poe1 there is a skill Cyclone (you spin and move and stuff dies) And some years ago that spin would stop if you hit and obstacle. Later they patched it so you would just slide against the wall and keep moving... AND IT WAS HUUUUGE! And im like what the actual crap is wrong with these people they do the same dumb mistake with sprint? why cant i just sprint along the wall instead of watching my character twitching for 2 days just because i hit some broken barrel with my toe. Not even starting with tripping and taking another week to stand back up because some random projectile hit me from outside my screen. it's five days since start and im in act4 because on top of all that chore i decided to do league content which this time is just a complete joke and insult to human intellect. Im not saying things should be like in poe1 cause the power creep there was just too large. But on the other hand the endgame is like poe1 (tons of mobs, you never see the ground due to all the visuals, you basically have no idea whats going on and pray) Everything is like in poe1 except that YOU are slower and weaker... which is not fun. The game overall is fun just until you kill Count Geonor. Not to mention balance is not there. life/armor builds are far inferior. Armor doesnt work at all (of course it doesn't, it's GGG being stubborn to still use systems that were flawed in first game and make them flawed the same way here) Evasion works only if you hit some crazy numbers (still non existent until endgame) Last edited by M3TALPL#1468 on Dec 17, 2025, 5:46:15 PM

Totally agree about the pace of play while levelling. I don't think the pacing is anywhere near right for the majority of players and from the majority of comments on the forum and in game.
I think there are just better RPG games out there and POE2 has tried to create a niche, the biggest problem with a niche game is you end up with a very small player base. I personally would like GGG to just be honest with people and let us know what to expect when the game is finally launched. If this is how they want the game to be at launch just tell us now, then the people who hate this playstyle can leave and not return and the people who enjoy it know it is a game they can invest in. sadly i think they won't, game has huge potential but also a lot of flaws, especially the endgame mapping which needs a complete rework/rethink. |

Agreee! Pretty much most of the player base feels this way at least what I have read on the forums. Ignore the kids that say "PlaY SoMe THiNg ElsE" lol
