Severe lack of balance once again ruining the game

GGG, you failed at nerfing overexertion before keepers release instead you nerfed snaking (lolwhat), slam builds need to get nerfed by about 60-70% dmg to be in-line with the avg DPS potential of most "ethical" skillgems in the game so that almost single-handedly ruined the league start since the entire community are sheep and everyone and their grandma ran sunder into earthshatter zerk.. HELLO?
Moreover, Ephemeral Edge and Mageblood still aren't nerfed, making it a tier 0 unique is not a nerf lol, this is becoming honestly embarassing, do you even have anyone working at GGG who takes care of the game's balance? And NOW we have reached next levels of laughable balance in path of exile, the foulborn claws which enabled an accuracy stacking int stacking build which reaches 100m+ dps while being tanky enough to survive more than 2 consecutive UBER MAVEN memory game not even taking into account guard skill and even without endurance charges.. I am seriously angry at the carelessness of the devs. I could go on mentionning all the nonsense in this game but I don't want to write an entire book here... In b4 the entire community posts to tell me how wrong I am because even mentionning nerfs is blasphemy and they just want PoE to be some kind of arcade game for kids where bosses die in 2 seconds and its impossble to fail because characters are allowed to outscale the entire game by a ridiculus margin. You know GGG, there is nothing wrong with admitting you've made a huge mistake and deservedly nerfing builds mid-league, just roll out a quick patch.

Nerfing overexert this hard would just remove slams from the meta as a playstyle once again. We had that before. Slams popular for league starts and SSF then they got nerfed and vanished from sight. You have to consider the price slam builds pay for getting all that damage which is wc piano or alternatively, no auras. That damage isn't free at all and if they don't have that there is no reason to play them at all.
Also, you might want to consider that your idea of balance isn't everyones or GGGs idea of balance. |

" I really don't consider having to press buttons a hard downside of a build, there are always builds available for lazy players who aren't interested in pressing more buttons in order to tap into a little bit more power at the cost of QOL for example bladefall bladeblaster which can deal pretty insane levels of damage when compared to for example a "comfier" blade vortex build. Another part of your argument was that autoexertion came at the cost of not being able to run auras which is not only wrong but also a moot agument at its core. I have a pob open right now with a 6link autoexertion setup and its far from reserving 100% mana, in fact I am still able to work in a 50% reserve aura + purity of fire + blood and sand with minimal investment and a level 3 enlighten. Also the reason why even if that wasn't the case your point would still be moot is that since nowadays melee players use pride over determination so they use a large chunk of their mana to reserve for damage regardless if autoexert existed or not, so how is it that all of a sudden you try to justify this imbalance by acting as if that having to reserve mana for damage is a giga downside of the build when it gives infinitely more damage than any damage aura. Just LOOK at your first sentence and you will realize you are agreeing with my core argument even if you don't want to... What is meta in PoE? Its only the most broken builds that upset the balance of the game so much that literally most of the community feel as if they are basically being forced to play it and you attempt to claim that removing a skill from the meta is automatically a bad thing? Being removed from the "meta" doesn't automatically mean that it has to become unplayable... I will make another post soon about how by their shoddy balancing work for years the devs have enabled the content creators to influence the entire community to have insanely high standards for builds which is actually really toxic for the game and cringe... Also, you might think my "idea" of balance is just an opinion but if you actually start thinking about it you will realize it's actually 99% common sense and 1% opinion. If everything GGG did was absolute perfection and whatever they did = "that's the end of it" then why do you think they have bothered to setup a "Feedback and suggestions" subforum... That makes no logical sense.

The slam builds seem very fair.
Accuracy stacker seems strong, but so what. I would prefer more builds to be allowed to be strong like slams and stackers instead of tearing those FUN AND RELIABLE BUILDS down. POE2 should be the ruthless vision experience and POE1 should be the zoom power fantasy sandbox to capture both audiences.
I petition to return all the fun stuff that was removed or nerfed over the years back into POE1. |

I assure you slam builds aren't fair at all, why do you think so many people went zerker slam on HCSSF leaguestart anyway (I don't really care and follow the meta for softcore since it is not a game mode I have any respect or interest for). But go ahead open up PoB right now and cook up a melee build (or any build for that matter)that can be made without mirrors worth of investment that can rival slam build in terms of dps while maintaining well above average max hits taken. Trust me there will be MANY more balancing changes required if you bring every skillgem up to the insane power level standard of exertslammer such as scaling up the entire game's difficulty and retouching 90-95% of every other skillgem that exists. Unless of course you firmly believe any endgame boss that doesn't have an uber tag should die / get phased in like 1 to 3 hits and if that's the case honestly I have no desire to even debate anything with you.
