Oh GOD... the issue the Support gems..

you can limit the gems by searching terms related to your skills. your skills have tags like melee, strike, projectile, meta, cold, ignite, str, mana, etc. i think only spirit is a bit iffy as a search term there. the tool is right there, search. use it. it is your friend.

u must chosse an especific gem to support skill. and u can do it.

You have two choices


Follow a guide because trial by error is a coplete waste of your time in this game and people with a real life don't have time to read all patchnotes, let alone the wall of skill description texts, use 3rd party apps, etc . Downsides: the build doens't feel like you crafted it yoruself


Make your own build and expect to die alot and get stuck and feel miserable.

Trail and error is not a complete waste of time at all. The biggest portion of this game is character building. The whole point of the game is to do trail and error on your build to see what works/ doesn't work and figure out how to make the best build possible.

This is why this should implement videos like in the gems tab to understand what each support gem would do to the skill.

This is very important . For me personally I dont care about reading all those support gems, I just open a guide in mobalytics and follow what is there.

I agree with you who got the fk time to read all this support gems as we have life and we are employee who just want to chill and enjoy a game.

They need to find a better way to present this . From my pov it is preseneted in a better way than POE 1. Like way too much better but still it needs more love from the devs.

For example, they have a filter for warcry on the warcry gem . Then in the recommended everything linked to warcry should show up instead of only 9 options that are recommended. There should be more linking and filtering.

People who say you must play meta or die are just butthurt because they cannot come with something on their own.

GGG never understood the golden "LESS is MORE" formula.

Just making 10000 of everything alone doesn't make things interesting.
