Mass Ban people who exploit currency so bad it trashes the economy.

The inflation is ofcourse a problem, one I fully expect them to properly adress with the next patch. That is just how it goes sometimes in poe.
Fortunatlely you can farm other things than divines and get divines super easy. So while the divines you had farmed up are now almost worthless, getting TONS more should be a walk in the park. |

I kind of wonder what the poe world would be like if they did mass ban people who got rich in game off cheese. Like think of all the leagues there has been where people "exploited" stuff to get omega wealth and if all those people got instantly banned each time. There would be like thousands of less cheese lords playing the game in the long run meaning the community would have less sweaty no lifers. It would be an interesting world to live in if you could compare the two side by side.

" You would also have.....no trade. Like....at all. Worth it? Good luck getting scarabs for regular juicing. Good luck finding the uniques you need in the span of a typical player's time in a league. Good luck getting corrupted or above-mid-tier gear at all. We would be back in 2013 where tri-resist plus life gear is the top tier, and everything else was basically mirror-tier and higher. " Inflation in the League would be slower if: - League was properly tested before release (so least amount of exploit is in final build). - Items would have max prices - therefore scalpers couldn't resell them with profit:) Or simply once item is bought it cannot be sold on Agne/Traded for some period of time, like week for example. - GGG tried to fix problem with their economy by Mass ban of ALL THOSE RMT (people who farm and sell currency for real money) and price scalpers (ofen same people who do RMT) from the game. - Nerf builds used to farm items and currency. And no SSF is not solution here. |

" ........ ........ ........ so...... ........ ........ everything? I hope you realized by now through playing the game that you are.....always farming items and currency, right? That IS the game. Also, just so you are aware: rmt "farmers" are probably the least likely contributor to inflation that you can possibly get. Inflation requires currency to be inserted into the market: by its very nature rmt sellers are doing the exact opposite of this. Their only contribution is that they are farming currency that DOES ultimately end up in the market....but so does every single other player in the game. Really, the only thing that leads to major inflation is this: too much loot dropping and not enough "sinks" to spend it on. That's really......it. All the rest of the things you feel like you want to complain about by saying GGG should act against, such as rmt (which is already forbidden) or overly expensive gear.....would do nothing to change inflation.
