Vaal Temple needs a rework for 0.5

...so it can't be abused that easy by creating everlasting broken layouts.

Suggestion:

Every temple has a total limit of 30 rooms.

After the 30th room has been set you can enter the final boss room if connected.

Every time you enter the temple you HAVE to set 6 rooms....Due to this limitation you also have 3 rerolls every time you enter the temple, so you can reroll not so useful rooms to useful ones (ofc always random outcome).

As soon as you've cleared the 30 room temple (means after exactly 5 runs), the Temple will be reseted to 0 after the run and you have to start from scratch.

And passive points for this league mecahnic could bring things to the table like:

- Increase rerolls from 3 to 5
- 20% chances that a room upgrades to LVL2, 10% cahnce that a room upgrades to LVL3 (even without room synergies).
- You can always enter boss room at the end, even if not connected.

etc....

Sry but I belong to the generation who rather repair things instead of throwing them away. ;)

I'm prety sure GGG will be able to fix it for the next patch because in it's Core it's a nice mechanic.....all we can do is to give feedback and suggestions so they can work with such informations.

I mean that's the whole point of a Beta. :)

That would be ideal ofc but I fear that it's to big of a task to rework it propperly this patch....but hope dies last and I ofc I hope that they can do so. :)

why removing? just rebalance, redesign and make it optional content - you dont like it? ok, dont play it. I like temple = I play it.

So with 0.4.0c the temple has been nerfed but this went in the complete wrong direction.

People who've setup the full temple before can still print currencies (significantly less but still more than with other tactics) and people who didn't setup the full temple before are prety much locked out to get the best result out of it.

Means every twink from now on can never reach the same result as people who've setup the temple before patch...they practicaly play a complete different version of the temple unreachable by others.

Just reset everyones temple, so we're all at least at the same level....And ofc a complete overhaul is still required, hopefully mid-league but with 0.5 it also would be fine.

I mean it's a BEta and we're here to test things, so a proppper Temple rework mid-league wouldn't be the end of the world....quite opposite. :)

Conclusion: Temple def needs a rework for 0.5.

Most important a limit and a full reset of the temple after 30 rooms have been set (Like Alva Temple in POE1 f.e.), so it's not possible to make layouts that give more profit than all the other league mechanics together.

This completely kills the trading economy in the game, please don't let the temple destroy the economy in 0.5 aswell and redesign it before next league.

Probably so.
It will be terrible if they will fix it in a way that it still be exploitable.
I hope GGG either removes vaal temple or reworks it in a way that it is only used for farming those crafting/double currupt etc. items and atziri loot.
It dosen't need a rework, it needs to be deleted.
