POE1 orbs have value because they equate to results.
PoE2 orbs are loot boxes , you have a chance to perhaps maybe get something that isn't shit.

There is no value in a maybe , there is no economy.
And pretending that its broken... impossible.

Cause without an anchor to pin orb values to , like you get a resist , you get a fracture , you get a .... those have a value.

Spin the wheel at a chance to get a resist. Has no value.

Ill believe the market story if you can tell me why a Chaos orb is worth less than a divine.

Agreed. I think:

1) Keep all lore
2) Focus of Temple is to kill Atziri
3) Minigame of building your own dungeon still exists, but grid is smaller, or destabilization threshold is lower
4) Limit loot from a full temple to the equivalent of running 3 Abyssal Depths
5) Alternative: your temple fully destabilizes after you open it 10 times

If it was "easy simple" why has it not be done already or even better... actually tested and balanced before launch?

Do you really like temple or did you get in early enough to get loaded with drops and that is what you like about it? General curiosity question in all seriousness.

I am impartial to the Temple but it cant exist in its current state for sure.
The problem is the gameplay loop only felt good to people because loot was insanely over inflated.

Personally after walking into the temple and having nothing work, half the time things were not clickable and it felt glitchy and unfinished I never wanted to engage with it again.

If loot dropped like that doing ANY other content people would sing it's praises endlessly.

The design incentive this is sure to create I fear will doom this game and allow content to be near unplayable but if it drops things... well it's golden standard.

It's not going to surprise me at all if I see anyone on this thread defending the temple to come back in 0.5.0 crying about poverty league, because they can't produce 50+ divines every run.

If it's too good to be true, it probably is. Farming raw currency is a noob trap, vaal temples were a catastrophic mistake that GGG will be correcting in 0.5.0. They've killed currency printer leagues for less in PoE1.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

Nah, just limit the temple to 30 rooms total and reset after reaching the rool limit and/or killing the boss...as mentioned in the post.

Problem solved.
