Do People Enjoy the Poe1 Campaign?

Is this just referring to only being able to save the Scion once per account, to campaign after Act 3, or something else ?

It's been a long time, but I think you couldn't league start with a Scion. You had to save her first with your first campaign run. Don't trust me on that though; it's a bit foggy.
Thanks for all the fish!
No, but I'd rather run this campaign 10 times than the PoE2 campaign once. Same with lab. I appreciate PoE1 much more now - even the tedious, boring parts, lol.
No I would actually pay to skip it, it's my personal battle every league.

Yes, needed to release her from the cage in A3 dominus place

i have a lvl38 character in the current league, i tried honestly, i really tried. i gave up, i just cant with this campaign any more.

How many pc games do you actually finish? Are you sure it's just poe? ;P
Lvl 38 is 2-3 hours of playtime for the average veteran. So let's say it's 3 hours of playtime. Also, you gave up right at the point when the campaign becomes very fast, it's really just the first 3 acts that are somewhat slow. Maybe try again? Act 4 upwards should be significantly faster than before xd

And in another thread you claim to have 20k hours in poe 1. That seems unlikely if you quit the campaign with your first char in a league after lvl 38 because you think it's a slog/chore...;P

ive been playing since 2013.

I had /played 1k hours on that character alone before we even had challenge leagues.

...i love poe1 and the endgame still but the thought of playing the campaign is so repulsive that i just cant bring myself to play these new leagues, and havent been able to for years. if i can manage to make it through to endgame thats probably 12-18 months before ill be willing to put myself through that again...
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)
i really don't know
Act 1 used to be enjoyable but now that it's been overtuned it just drags on and all the fun's been sucked out of it, at least at league start; for characters with some leveling gear it's still fine.

Acts 2-4 are still fairly enjoyable for me, even though act 2 can feel a bit overly long, but I started playing shortly after Act 4 was introduced, so the appeal is mostly nostalgia.

Acts 5-7 really drag on, leveling gear or not, and I dread replaying them every time. They're nowhere near as bad as the POE2 campaign acts, which each feel like they take an eternity and a half, but they're still long enough to feel exhausting.

Acts 8-10 are fairly enjoyable because they're relatively quick to get through and by then usually I've switched to whatever my actual build is supposed to be.
Fairgraves was a slave trafficker specialized in the kidnapping and transport of children. He was not "a good man".
I think nothing of it, i've done it so many times now its just a task i blitz through - I tend to have a stash with really juicy leveling gear that i develop over the league though and I always play the skill i'm gonna use at endgame to keep it somewhat fresh.. or as fresh as it can be.

then why are complaining and state that you are not even able to finish the campaign and quit after lvl 38?

The campaign is the first 8 hours, completely irrelevant if you are willing to invest 1k hours into a singular character

Altering the campaign into an arcade style, one way exp leech leveling experience or god forbid starting in maps at lvl 1, will rob the game of it's soul and identity and will result in players declining. It will be very counter productive to what you actually want if you like the game.

It is 8 hours of meaningful progression, compared to hundreds of hours of not so meaningful farming, just to get your daily dose of tinks.
It is also good to prove yourself that you can handle the campaign without dying or whatever, to actually play an arpg for at least a couple of hours, before the arcade loot farming simulator starts.
