What Will Happen When the Keepers League Ends
" I personally couldn't care less that powergamers get something faster by a few hours. For me it doesn't change anything because when I wake up on the second day (about 20 hours into the league), people will be lvl 95 in red tiers anyways and some of them will have magebloods, headhunters, and 6 links. Without the tree or even faustus. I can't throw my life away to play 12 hours daily to even try to compete. I can't stop them and I can't slow them down, so at least if they get bored fast, the game will stop being so sweaty on forums and media after a week or two, while I can make at least some useful items myself. I had a 6 link from the tree in day 4 or 5, and then maybe had 2 more, so 3 total after about a month. If someone is willingly choosing to engage with that sweaty environment then I don't understand why they would complain about anything. It's like complaining you got cancer from smoking. Or complaining that you got fat because you ate fastfoods only to min/max your gaming time. The only "fun" sweats have is by being the fastest and the richest asap, so there's no room for having fun from just playing and upgrading anything. You're killing the fun for yourself by optimizing gains efficiency to the max. There is a big reason why you can play non-ssf other than economy race. Because some interesting (but basically worth 1c) items drop from uber bosses... And there are many uniques that are 1c or up to 1 div that enable fun builds, but getting them requires an endgame build, so that's why trade is a better option. Because I don't want to spend a month trying to get 1 unique to play with it for a few days. If it's the game's developer responsibility to balance the game, why aren't you advocating for limiting how long players can play daily? Do you know how much that would equalize the game for everyone? If every player could only play for 1 hour daily, the powergamers wouldn't be getting everything on the first few days, and more players would be right behind them. But of course, a typical powergamer wouldn't ever complain about the tree if they were the only one using it and gaining all the profits. But since everyone can, we're getting complainers. Games like poe are inherently unfair and biased towards those who don't do anything other than playing it and setting everything up to max efficiency, even if it means you don't see anything on the screen, you just hold one button and pick up tinks. If the character progression speed matters in normal poe, then what was ruthless added for? I thought the sole purpose of it was for some players, such as yourself, to have longer progression. Are you not aware of ruthless existing? It's right there for you to enjoy farming alchemy orbs and uncut gems. The truth is that trade powergamers don't mind having "easier" items as long as they're the only ones with that ability. Otherwise they would be playing SSF, ruthless, or ruthless SSF without feeling jealous of other players having drops. |

Same with cluster jewels. There are still non-cluster builds or builds which use only 1 cluster. So default passives are now useless? WHATS YOU LOGIC MAN? Annointing? You do not use amulets except for ones dropped in blight ravaged which have 2 annoints or ones which come from stranglegrasp corruption/matryoshka div card? HOW CAN SCARABS AND 6TH MAP DEVICE SLOT CAN BE CONSIDERED POWERCREEP? ITS EXTENSION OF ENDGAME JUICING POSSIBILITIES. IT DOES NOT MAKE ANY EXISTING CONTENT WORSE BRO. YOU CAN ANNOINT ANY AMULET YOU WANT BTW BRO ENDGAME CONTENT also became much more complicated and requires better build than in 3.0 when we had neither annoints nor clusters. but now GGG want to delete endgame from poe with leagues like keepers. I just cant. Tree KILLS multiple farming strategies and dumbens crafting process. It is unhealthy. It is literal POWER CREEP. all that you listed is not powercreep. and if you complain about growing power curve in poe... it's not actually growing at all.
Have you seen OG headhunter? OG scourge MF? OG harvest? Do you even know that scarab of containment is freaking prophecy which was added like 10 years ago? And now they just reenabled it, but we no more have enraged strongboxes. But we had them in necropolis right after sextants being deleted... Power level is always balanced in poe, and OG leagues had avg slightly higher power level in crafting, build power and amount of loot. We do not need nerf fiestas like unplayable 3.27 abomination, we need OG power level of poe. really????? you made a good mechanic into an annoying slogfest and made it core? what are you guys doing with the game????? the new breach is awful poe2 style league mechanic, just awful, i hate the defending nonsense, i hate the hives, i hate the escaping nonsense, i hate the tree, i hate the hands, i hate how long it takes now... it's horrible!!! i hate the lack of loot dropping from doing breaches

Please reconsider porting the tree to core game.
We just had a league with exceptionally bad ground loot. Like, Kalandra level suckage. Layered nerfs to juicing, gutted last remnants of ground loot. Let me guess, you have plans to nerf green tower Bloodline Blights too, because God forbid we drop a lot of loot in the map and hear dem tinks. NO MORE MENUS AND OUT OF MAP LOOT. Expedition loot? Menus Kingsmarch loot? Menus Tree? A menu that's out of the map. Just drop those foulborn uniques or currency from the god damn encounter!!! What's wrong with this concept?! |
