Does anyone else feel the endgame is socially empty?
" Even the crystals, party leader gets 2 and everyone else gets 1. No reason to group to find crystals. |

its empty because social systems don't exist.
sure you can message sure you can trade but no, you can't play together and share progress past the campaign (i.e. the current version of the atlas/mapping system - i REALLY hope there is an overhaul in relation to this so progress could be shared from a quest/shared progression perspective) shared zones where you see a bunch of people is also bad because it doesn't add anything to game in the slightest except "i see people I will never interact with" - yet costs a massive amount of network load cause everything needs to be loaded (ever lag spike in town when someone visits your hideout? xD) |

" Very true. And as others have mentioned, so much screen and visual clutter you cant see whats going on. One of my friends actually got a migraine and had to log off lmao. It was a party with coc comets, another friend had coc comets with the Abyssal mtx, another was like oil barrage so the whole screen was exploding with fire, and he was playing wolf not use to all the spells. I had spark and another was playing twister and we were all in temple it was crazy visuals my whole screen was like a slideshow. |

Honestly, one of the main reasons I barely play in parties anymore is the screen clutter.
When half the group is running "sparkly lightning blender 3000" builds and the other half is detonating the entire color spectrum, it's not "co-op", it's a migraine speedrun. And right now there's basically no way to tune it down. No meaningful settings, no "reduce other players' effects", nothing. I also have no clue how this is supposed to pass accessibility expectations long-term. The EU tends to be pretty strict on that kind of thing, and "sorry, enjoy your headache" feels like a weird design pillar. So yes, the game needs more options here. Let me reduce party VFX, tone down flashes, lower bloom, whatever - just give me control. On the social side, I still like the idea of some kind of lobby or shared hangout space where you can actually be around people without instantly turning the screen into a fireworks factory. Maybe even occasional social events, though I know this is an ARPG, not an MMO, so I'm not holding my breath. That said, there are also much more urgent UX problems to fix first. Stuff like Atlas map search is a daily annoyance. I'd love the "living world" feeling, but I'd take "basic endgame UI doesn't fight me" before we start building soft social layers. |
