Game could be fun if faster
" To me muost fun part of this game is team play. Each league devs will fail more or less on prediciting players ingenuity with figuring out the new no aim screan clear, 1 click and forget meta. If it can be done in 1 click why bother with doing more Faster makes it worse, forcing you to do fast meta or lag behind as a spectator n party even morei than if it was slower pace. Just more limitations to build variety = bad Last edited by Timmy2000#0228 on Feb 20, 2026, 9:54:26 PM

I don't want POE1 in POE2. If anything, we need reduce the POE1 stuff here and go back to original vision. |
|
" +1 you want zoom fast and brutal? ok, play poe1 new game? play poe2. |

Don't worry, Devs gonna remaster Poe1 with new graphs. So no panic, just a little more patience.

" That would be could. I like both, I just don't like them being too similar. I prefer to have 'different' game, especially since I paid for EA and the promised vision. Last edited by Exilion99#5481 on Feb 21, 2026, 9:29:26 AM

" Temporalis is difficult to obtain because no hit sekhemas runs are hard. Blink isn't good, but some people haven't figured that out yet. |

" What do you actually mean by this? I've played PoE 1 a whole lot and I don't know what you're talking about, unless you're referring to the need to press all your flasks? Are you counting movement skills and guard skills? Then, what are you talking about in PoE 1? The one-click builds or the thorns builds or something? When people talk about the 1 click meta, we're talking about the fact that you have a single main skill in PoE 1, and everything else is a support for that skill. Ultimately most builds feel like a different skin on the same build because you don't really do anything differently. In comparison for PoE 2, you can also set up a single active skill with everything else automated, or even no active skills. But then there's something you can't do in PoE 1. You can set up skills so that your main source of damage is a combination of different skills, or you can have a combo you use for clearing and a different combo for bossing. Sometimes I make characters where technically I could use a sequence of four or more skills to get to maximum damage, but I never get it all the way out until I see a boss, or sometimes in temple now. This is something you can only say about PoE 1 if you're taking the term "buttons" in the most literal way possible, which is not what anyone is actually referring to when they talk about a 1-button build vs a 2 button build. " You're right that in PoE1 you focus on one (OR two actually!) skills just due to how the scaling works, you want a 6L, or 2 6L, or a 6L and a sudo-6L. I'm specifically talking about the amount of buttons you actually press. You have your 1-2 main skill(s), 1-2 movement skill (most people who want to go fast have a movement skill + frostblink), manually curse for maximum effectiveness, possibly some warcries, potentially some situational vaal skills... Just look at the good variations of Earthshatter, or the fire leveling setup with flamability -> flame wall -> desecrate -> cremation -> armageddon brand.... Even once your flasks are automated or mageblood, PoE1 is still WAY HIGHER APM than PoE2. Heck, even Pohx's RF build ends up being higher APM than your typical PoE2 build. |

" I don't want it either; as I said I don't want to change the balance at all in fact. I just want an active gameplay with reasonable APM, not pressing a button every second or two between insanely-long animations. |

I feel like the game is already fun, and I think it's important to remember that a game can feel fast paced without simply speeding up everything in the way you're suggesting. I never feel like a boss fight in a good soulslike is too slow despite the fact that the whole fight might take significantly longer than boss fights in many other games, because there's so much tension.
