And one last thing, GGG can't really design either of the games to adhere to all type of players at the same time. We have casuals, power gamers, and some in-between, so there are always some people who can't enjoy the league. But it's especially true for power gamers: too much loot = bad, easier crafting = bad, a mechanic that greatly rewards the player, but takes time and effort to use? = bad. The ugly truth is that power gamer wants to get to endgame asap and find a strategy that nobody knows about and get rich only to stop playing in 1-2 weeks. Bros swallow their dinner whole and complain that it wasn't enough and had no taste, so they blame the dinner that it didn't serve itself in small portions over time. You're supposed to ration it for yourself.


go run some 8 mod t16 maps with full map effects and no tile loot, then report back. There is basically no ground loot dropping, almost all loot comes from tile mechanics.

its especially bad now because last league we had the rarity merc and risk scarabs. now they removed the mercs and risk scarabs and nerfed loot also. oh and they killed farm strats like abyss and alva. for people who enjoy ground loot keepers was one of the worst leagues ever

t16.5 ~300 quant 700+ currency. 11 chaos orbs on uber strict, couple of trash scarabs. So yeah, absolutely no loot. Cant even break even ffs. Now imagine if they nerf kingsmarch. I dont need tree loot, i dont need even kingsmarch loot. I need tinks on my god damn maps. Monkey hear tinks - monkey play. Previous league wasnt in fact poverty league for me, but only because i gambled entire league, which is not the way i want to play the game. And no, i dont want to play another "box/scarab allflames/ultimatum" league. I want blight, beyond, exiles, abyss, i want all strats be viable. Please GGG, give us ground loot back.

how about ditching the map modifier stacking and scaling too. Imagine scaling actual health and damage through atlas, scarabs and map mods? Not throw 20 annoying effects that cut out build after build after build from viable farming portfolio. Your character is built tanky and has 90% block? Cool, have -40% block mod. You have 6 auras with 100% extra effect? We'll just slap 100% less aura effect on you. Cover ele reflect. Cover no leech. Cover action speed shit. I mean, come on, this is just not fun.

Delve and TOTA did this. They didn't needed to throw you an A4 sheet of paper worth of map modifiers to make things challenging. Just beef them up and make them hit harder. Make you respond with more DPS and more max hit on your build. That's it, no need to cover 50 bases for shitty map mods which narrows build meta to like 1 or 2 per league.

And make ground loot follow this increased difficulty of course.
Sooo... Less than a week before the stream, where are the usual QoL teasers ? Surely there must still be some left to do.

PoE is falling from its throne slowly but surely (still on the throne tho) with each league with the exception of merc league. What are you doing about it ?

No teasers yet isn't exactly very reassuring.
