No kirc mod and Nightmare maps remove chaos sinks?

People not understanding the economy again.

If chaos is less valuable, every item you drop will cost more chaos.

So you do not lose any value on anything that isn't actual Chaos Orb drop.

Not necessarily.

1c trash unique generally will still stay at 1c. Meaning people that don't find anything noteworthy need to find more chaos and "other trash" in order to save up for the items traditionally priced in divine orb(s).

I'm not asking for anything crazy here, give us some reason to consume chaos orbs in some aspect of the mapping process.

But in all seriousness, I'm genuinely looking forward to chaos rolling maps and hiding scours and alchs in my lootfilter. Less bloat, less downtime, faster mapping, more fun.

The argument is that chaos are so valueless that they don't become the standard for trading at all. So your items aren't worth more chaos because no one is trading in chaos. The complaint being the trade filters on the trade site aren't setup for anything but chaos if this happens.

This is not my own beliefs, but this is the arguments I have seen.

1c uniques are 1c because no one is buying them. Just because there are thousands of items listed at 1c, doesn't mean there are thousands of people making 1c from those items. Like 1%, if that, of those items are being bought. They have to find more noteworthy things now. That isn't changing.

This is mostly red altar nerf cos red altars drop a lot of chaos.
But they also drop GCP which is going to be more valuable thanks to the new method of corrupting gems (that is much more RNG and will eat a lot of attempts to get a desired support).

Chaos is still going to be used to roll maps. T16,5 still exist, you know? They removed some of the worst mods, but you still want to roll them for those rewarding multipliers attached to them. Just not 50 chaos per map, more like 10-20.

Tujen is also taking a hit, because you're getting a lot of chaos off him. Chaos is propably the most common currency in his inventory. I often had 150-200C bought off him in between div offers.

Or maybe it will be the opposite and players will trade even more in chaos and not afraid to spend their "precious" C. IDK map mods gamba, or rolling good base+ilvl rares etc... chaos will definitely still have it's place.

Maybe I misunderstood something idk... Trade site also has a filter for alchs or whatever other currency so let's imagine low level uniques will cost alchs instead of C. Since GGG updates ground loot this league you will have more of C and Alchs and other currencies drop supposedly. Sh*t uniques will still cost sh*t amount of currency which again supposedly you will have this league.

PoE survived somehow this long, and it will continue to do so (I think). Maybe just something is gonna change and players will get accustomed to whatever other new economy or way of trading or "standard currency" etc... No point worrying now, if it's gonna be terrible then GGG will change it and if OK - well, then again, no point to be worrying.

i think chaos will go to 1000:1d. some people on standard have 6 digit chaos, don't know why they didnt sell earlier. always sell a long term down trend when the fundamentals fully justify the down trend.

i join high level farmers, they never pick up 1c uniques. i sometimes pick them up for dust. they are so common if all of them are picked up, they would be worth less than 1 scroll fragment. need an item with minimum 10c in league, 20c in standard, to know it might be of some use.
