After much internal discussion we are preventing the new Cryogenesis Breachlord Bloodline notable from interacting with Elemental Hit. I regret categorically stating it would not be changed on Ziz's podcast, so apologies to any Elemental Hit enjoyers for getting your hopes up.


Why? Is a skill being strong too much?
Revert this nerf. We need strong skills so league could be fun
You nerfed all good skills from 3.28 and added nothing new

Why poe2 balancing again?
Is it done by some soulless AI or what?
Players WANT op builds, we play the game because of it.

Also unnerf Blight. And bring back Abyss Hoards. And Alva. And Sanctum.

People love dropping a lot of items.

Now we have useless Mirage instead of Breach Hive which dropped something. So even less loot than before.

Did you not notice how many people STILL play poe2 because of temple which drops 100d every run???

We need affliction tier loot.

yes good loot like temple in poe2 keeps player around longer

we will never get loot like that here because then people would play poe longer and not quit when new poe2 league starts.

i think there is 1 month between poe1 league start and poe2 league start. 1 month is how long GGG wants players to stick around and they make sure this happens by removing every good end game farm and the constant nerfs to everything etc

one skill - already good skill mind you - suddenly gets 200% more damage from bloodline and once they realise it is stupid and fix it you cry foul? seriously?

This is a laughably bad take, when they reworked EH (many years ago now) you were getting PoBs with 1mil dps without any damage passives at all of any kind and this was going to be worse. Please don't be dumb and be like LOL ONE MIL BAD LOL, this was just after they added uber elder 1 mil with no passives was so stupidly broken and boring AF.

You are basically salty that they didn't leave 2000% damage effectiveness at gem level 20 on a skill its a ridiculous hill to die on.

There will be plenty of broken stuff to play still the tier lists are already up if you don't make your own builds and just go with the herd.

No. No we fucking don't.

People who don't engage in that content get absolutely shafted when they need items that now cost hundreds of divines, but they prefer playing content that barely yields single digit value. Nobody should be punished for not participating in meta currency printer leagues. This is literally why they killed Sanctum league.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

It was clearly an unintended interaction. Sure, he did say "enjoy", but things change. They decided to fix it in time for the league. That's fine. Much better than seeing one skill dominate the entire league just because an unintended interaction was blurted out in an interview.
