Thank god they nerfed it. Saw that 70% EH played infront of me.

It just the regular dopamine dude that got boosted for his 40 challenges thats dooms daying on content he/she haven't played yet.
Is OP really protesting a skill going live that would render anything else silly to play (GGGs own words).

If I hadn't read his post and replies to himself, I would have thought this was bad ragebait. Sadly, this appears to be an actual, real oppinion.
POE 1 isn't THAT vulnerable to broken skill completely taking the meta over.
There are many skills that can be fashioned into absolutely brutal builds that will demolish everything AND have tankness to show too.

Penance Brand of Dissipation existed in 3.23 and it was doing hella more dmg than now. And we had charms and the charm jewel. Still, only about 12 percent of people played PB of Dissipation.

Bugged interactions need to be found and fixed tho.

I've been struggling to make that exact same determination, so it's good to see I am not alone.

It's definitely a pretty wild take to refer to "fixing an unintended 200% more damage interaction" as "nerfing things just for the sake of it." It's an even wilder take to be this emotionally invested in a build you haven't even played yet.

Crucible had Explode Totems and it was good.
Yeah we need OP and absurdly strong builds.
They are fun.
'Balanced' trash builds are not fun.

I want to facetank ubers and clear T17 not dodge roll against T16 boss.
You have poe2 for that.

Mirage nerfed everything and when EH was at least comparable to what we had in Keepers, it got destroyed.

I am invested in builds being decent and strong.
I want to play as strong characters not as weakling that GGG wants everyone to be. I want to be stronger and stronger.
Most people want the same, even poe2 everyone plays temple and coment auto builds with 1 button not 10 combos button builds

KB Clustering dead
CWS dead
ES builds dead
Ultimatum dead
Tree dead
Kingsmarch dead
Blight dead
Awakened gems nerfed
Useless level 1 support enchant added (lmao)
T17 dead
Even Chisels are removed (20iiq) and Kirac mods (so this league is 50% less loot)
Kirac missions removed -> Beasts dead


NOTHING NEW ADED IN MIRAGE

Except astrolabes which are just worse memory chains that also require you to run different maps (good luck Legion on Maze).

GGG is just making sure that the same build isn't on top for too long. There are tons of changes that will come together to make a new OP build, just like in every league. We'll just have to find it.

To me that's one of the great things about PoE: OP builds have an expiry date, so people are encouraged to find new ways to break the game. If this was not the case the game would have died a long time ago because everything would be solved and boring.

As for "nothing new added", I'm sorry but they added a whole new freaking Ascendancy. New uniques, at least one of which is going to be absurdly strong. New skills. New supports. You can have an additional annoint with the new belt base. Please don't dismiss all of this in a handwave.
