Sound Volume Problems

Also have sound problem. Cant change volume, loud sound effects. Windows XP Proffesional 2002 SP3 32bit

Same problem here on Windows XP sp3 professional onboard sound card of a gigabite motherboard.


Something really weird happened as well. I opened poe then alt tabed to desktop and windows player message pops up saying : An audio codec is needed to play this file. To determine if this codec is available to download from the Web, click Web Help.

same problems with sounds.

i used XP sp 3. sound is provided by motherboard gygabite
Had the same problem. If you haven't seen it yet, check out this thread. Downloading the Realtek update as described worked for me! Yay community!

Still sound problems, that didn't exist before 0.11.0.
Same for me and i'm on xp too
I am also experiencing the inability to control the "Sound Effects" volume using the slider. I can confirm that the slider works perfectly during login and character selection, but not after I load a character. The RealTEK audio driver update did not fix the problem for me.
