The -15% exp penalty is obnoxiously bad outdated design.
this is what blizzard did to gamers those days...
and please,if you can't take the fact that the game is still in beta and many people are trying it now, please come back later when it is more stable. |

I agree actually. Experience loss on death is so 90's.
I'll deal with it and play on the edge of my seat, but I would love to see that number reduced a bit. Fighting the war against the AltF4Core! Hardcore is for whimps.

Default needs to have some sort of incentive to not make suicide builds... how do you think us hardcore people survive? We can't die at all. If dieing is really that much of an issue for you rethink your build/playstyle. The challenge needs to stay.

Without the loss of EXP then there is no reason to glass cannon and kill everything then when you hit a unique/boss just spawn portals and peck away at them because you die every 5 seconds.
It stays. "Beta"

lol... if you dont like EXP penalty i suggest you learn not to die.
Seriously is the penalty didnt exist there would be no incentive not to die; like others have mentioned this would lead to rez bombing (create a portal---> suicide-->resurect--->repeat)to clear out areas rather than smart playing, strategy and optimizing builds to ignore defensive bonuses... if what you want is to blindly maximize DPS and mindlessly kill things without having to plan out a strategy ever so often go back to D3. |
