Feedback and Suggestions (Path of Exile 1) - free unlimited respec on passive skill (or a sandboxed Free Unlimited Respecs League) - Forum

Everything it needs is a feature to simulate a chars progress like with the skill tree planer on the web, but ingame and with the ability to check the resulting values on your char. (like the suggested sandbox feature) and as far as I know and expect, something comparable to this will come. a free respec would completely be against the goal of the game: to play it as long and often as possible. A full respec option would only benefit ppl who don't want to put forth the effort to develop a build. I guess some ppl find copying somebody else and running around calling anyone who doesn't a noob. How's that for irony? What happens is the best build, with possibly one alternative, surface. Then everybody HAS to use one of those builds or be at a disadvantage. If you try to go ahead and play with another build you will constantly have to listen to ppl telling you how you should change this or that. Both helpful and sarcastic ppl. They assume because you aren't exactly like everyone else you must not be very bright. Sadly, they are right. With full respec options the way to go IS just like everybody else. Use leagues if you have to cater to no-lifers whose self esteem relies on their ability to watch paint dry for entire days, but please reconsider respec scarcity as it won't lead to the sustained interest you expect from it - just the opposite. Exactly this! PEOPLE, stop pretending that time investment equals skill! Any idiot can play 12h a day! What's the problem in having a league that offers better respecs? You can still play the other "normal" leagues. In my opinion we should be allowed to have a full respec once a week, so there can be experimentation and build diversity. And since this is a F2P game, the very least that should be in the game is full respecs paid with real money.
