I too have a serious spider phobia to deal with, when triggered it can get to the point where I'm hallucinating spiders, sometimes giant, in the room with me. It is not a petty thing. I'd like to see those of you who make fun of us looking for a no-spider mod to walk in my brain for a day. Of course, there are going to be people that just have a minor fear of spiders, and really don't need them removed but will anyway. To separate that group from people with a real phobia, I would definitely pay to be able to play through act 2 without spiders, say a $10 investment. At least there are no groups of small spiders that burst out of cocooned and still breathing exiles... That would be creepy as fuck in PoE's aesthetic style. And yeah... Flicker Strike Spiders in a dark cave can go fuck themselves...
