I might quit your game due to exp lose.

got lvl 90 ranger and lvl 87 witch, not gonna lie, i cant even count how many times i died and lost progress in ur game, i honestly despise the fact that u lose 10% exp per death, exp lose should be reduced to 3%-5% not freaking 10%!!!! that is way overkill! and im fed up with doing the same things over and over just to die and to repeat. i rather play an MMORPG instead. i wasted a lot of money in ur game as well but the campaign was fun, sadly the endgame exp lose is honestly bad idea since u play for nothing, what the hell do u gain if u die? u play to lose progress, many of my friends quit the game as well because of the exp lose, this is awful.

You won't feel satisfied without xp loss either, nor with level 100; you would just go on to complain about the endgame being bad. The endgame just isn't good right now and it has nothing to do with xp.
What your misunderstanding is that there is no need for you to level your ranger past 90. If losing exp on death is a problem for you then you should be focusing on other vectors to power up your character, like gear or jewels.

What you get from the last 10 levels is a trivial amount of player power that isnt worth the time it takes to get them and isnt needed for any content.

You just have the wrong mindset where you think you have to keep leveling up your character just because you can. Its the same as in elden ring, you dont get mad because it takes 1 billion runes to get to max level, because thats not your goal (with a few exceptions) its just there as an arbitery level cap for those who want to farm it.

If you just change your mindset to where you plan your character around being lvl 90 then this isnt an issue. You just focus on your gear or build and if you get any levels past 90 then those are just bonus points.
I will be ok if they keep XP punishment but make 6 portals/deaths per map and keep content after death. If they don't, im out 100%. I might be playing new acts and new classes but no further then campaign.

Those players telling others to put up with a game change they don't want nor have asked for. For a silly reason of "I'm dying too much."

Those players that want to make reaching 100 just another thing with no meaning, nor satisfaction once you do it.

Those players that haven't heard of HC where if you die, you get sent to another league. Yet somehow... They aren't dying.
Changed my stance here and not look at leveling or reaching 100, but I will just
stay on point on the fact that XP earned should be untouchable. Player's time is a real world currency that should not be taken away.

Make each monster kill just give 1 xp, I don't care. But do not take away player's invested time away from the game.

Race to 100 is a notable challenge, but not all wanted to participate on it. Make it opt-in race for HC/SC/SSF/trade.

Its not me telling him, its just a fact about how the game is.
The goal of the game isnt to reach level 100, unless you want to make it a personal challenge. The game also isnt balanced around you being level 100.

Hitting level 100 is an optional challenge that you can choose to do, its not a requirement, and if you choose to do it then its hard. And there are people who enjoy it being hard and not free.

You can play elden ring naked and with no weapon, but thats not how the game is balanced. Should I then cry on a forum to have unarmed dmg buffed? Or can we leave it as it is for those that like to do a naked challenge and then you can just not do it if you dont like it?
can i have your stuff please
Xp loss is a lot better solution to blocking glass cannons than the 1 portal system. Xp loss is important.

In my opinion of course.
