Crit Vs Reflect Unbalanced

I totally support your game and love it, but you need to do something about reflected crits.. (Especially Phy reflect) The thing about reflect is that it can make a 66 map harder then a 77, and make a lvl 90 or whatever die in a map 30 levels lower then him. It should be scaled atleast to the level of the maps imo.. It's already strong by itself, it shouldn't reflect crits.. It completely removes the possibility of crit builds in HC. dps in general is made worthless due to reflect unless your satisfied with being under level 90

" Unless you use a projectile attack/spell and 1-shot yourself to something offscreen without ever having seen the reflect aura, in which case you should hit up the forums and bitch at ggg for adding lazy/bad mechanics to the game as a bandaid to unbalanced player damage potential : monster life ratios. " Need i explain more? Well said. I was trying to have fun, trying something different.. I tried crit, and I saw my hp go down from 9k to 1k in half a second, because there was a reflect mob 1 screen away from me.. Do the passives in Mara tree reduce damage from reflected crits? " Wand mechanics are more susceptible to crit than bows. They're actually crit-based builds. Spells depend heavily on the spell. A lot of would-be decent spell builds aren't even viable because of the potential to die to reflect. I love how every time someone posts a "reflect does this to the game" thread, some smart alec has to jump in and be like, "well hurdurr, you can use another skill!" as if no one realized that totems, minions, traps, and mines hardly care about reflect at all. The question then becomes, why should players play crit-based builds that could potentially one shot themselves to reflect when they can play safer builds that barely give a damn. And people wonder why dual spork is so popular... |
