Yeah of course, it's exaggerated. But the unique single-handed swords in the game right now are pretty underpowered in my opinion. I would like to see an end-game unique sword equal to the Soul Taker axe in the future (around pure phys 360DPS)

1 Exalted (ex) = 10 Gemcutter's Prism (GCP) = 22 Chaos = 220 Chromatic
I would probably make some staff/wand with str/dex to int conversion and more damage when on high mana.

This item functions like Elemental hit in a way, yet it will only do one particular element that was randomized, say if you hit with fire, you only deal fire damage from all your gear and this item. If you dealt lighting damage, it will only deal lightning damage. etc etc.

I would make a sword called "Blood Drinker". It would be a level 1 unique with base attack speed of 1.02. It will have only 2 offensive stats.

4-10 Physical dmg
+2% attack speed


Every 10,000 enemies you kill with the sword, it gains 2x its previous stats. Caps at 256-640 physical and 2.28 attacks / second.

You have to USE the sword to kill the enemies. I.E melee skills only with the sword equipped. It won't slowly gain stats as you kill stuffs. It will just double at the exact moment when you kill 10,000 more enemies.

Essentially, you would have to kill 60,000 mobs to get it to its final state.

i would make a either of these: melee dagger, quiver, 1h axe

the reason is simple: these 3 categories only have 2-4 unique's.
i am for example making a build that resemble's a rogue/assasin but there are currently only 2 unique melee dagger's and that for a rather low lvl so i guess i would prefer designing a dagger.

Some weapon that lets your attacks/aoes/spells (staff?!) etc target allies too and will heal a percentage of the damage done to enemies by that attack to the allies hit.

Eg freeze pulse that hits 5 enemies and 2 allies. The pulses deal a combined damage of 500 to enemies. It would heal 100 life to the 2 allies shared between them (50 life each).

Possibly too OP with totems though. However, it could make Animate Guardian not terrible.

EDIT: Maybe it could be like a ring that gave this effect or amulet.

A second cool item could be something that has the following effect: mana reservation cost in auras in this item has a multiplier of 0.5 (or some other number that would make it balanced) but these auras only buff yourself and nobody around you. (Maybe it could work with your totems/summons too?)
