If you had the chance to design a weapon or a piece of armor... what would it be?

I think rather than being a unique, this should be done via a "reduced souls" support gem. It makes total sense to have, as it would have to be linked to the vaal skill so you'd be able to use it a bit more often at the cost of one support slot.

Low lvl armor, no requirments. Name: Adrenalin Coat

+10 to all atributes
+15% chaos res
Gain 10% IMS for 5 sec upon hitting an enemy with an attack
Gain 10% IAS for 5 sec upon being hit by an attack
+1 to maximum number of totems
Your totems deal no damage

Very interesting idea, I like it. You'd probably use it with Decoy Totem or Shockwave Totem for the defensive capabilities?
I know this is an armour and weapon thread but I had an idea last night when spending thousands of chromes on the "at least 3 blue" recipe:

Would it not be good to have a gem which would make an adjacent linked socket(s) white? Thought it might add an interesting tactical gem slot if you were trying to get more off colours on a 4L, 5L or 6L. Would also help with prismatic eclipse's white socket bonus.

Thoughts?

I freaking love this. Maybe it could be a new option for gem corruption. Other than that, I'm not entirely sure how you'd work this around to be used in an item or as a separate gem. If it was a separate gem that offered this, you'd lose a link and a good portion of your damage or defenses, depending on what it's linked to.

Vaal Support skills would be awesome. This could be the version of Reduced Mana. Maybe it would require a low number of skills to be able to use and then when full it would discharge and lower the activation cost of the linked Vaal skill for a brief period of time.

your ideas?

PLEASE IMPLEMENT THIS SWORD NOW ITS SOOOOOO OP I <3 YOU OP DIS TOO GEWD

Spoiler
really I want that sword to be in the game =D
i would create a base item type "sheath" used in offhand or quiver slot.

-str dex int requirements using all 3 stats. (highest stat determining highest base value)
-has lowest base defensive values of any shield with ar\ev\es
-has the capability to use quiver or shield affixes.
-has the capability to use global affix. %leech, %increased maximum
-can only roll 1/4 less of every mod from those base item types

-can be used as a quiver or shield.

alot of uniques being created atm have the same base abilities a sheath would have. hybrid rolls from 2 separate item types.

examples:
Maligaro's Lens
Rearguard

these items would change alot of how ppl go about thinking their builds out. crafting them would be a nightmare but the really good sheaths would be amazing. base values nowhere near comparison to an actual shield or quiver by themselves. they would fill alot of empty holes in the games base item types.
