RF needs buffed if they fix "snapshot"

if snapshoting is "fixed", RF needs definately a buff. i read so often using flamesurge with RF etc and this guys even dont know that serious RF builds use EE... or using doryani`s to get more dmg, you loose so much resistance changing aurumvorax or brightbeak and you NEED overcaped resistance when using RF. good luck when you get cursed with flamability or elemental weakness and no your flasks with "remove curse ond use" are not always available. ( Hi HC lol )

RF builds are THE build with the most drawbacks and it SHOULD do hilarious dps for that reason. u will understand it when your partymember have to reroll their maps with chaos orbs when -max resi, vulnerability, no regen, half regen etc mods appear on their maps.

EVERY melee build will do better then any RF build if they dont buff RF.

hi bro , i dont use auromvorax or brightbeak and i have enough resistances , there are certainly several ways of playing rf and my build is pretty serious.

flamesurge as of now has 10k dps at lvl 17 , with semicrappy gear and will probably reach 15k at lvl 20 with some better pieces and higher level.

thats 22.5k extra dps just thrown in for good measure and i promise you , its nothing to scoff at and it really is noticable when doing bosses/invaders.

Of course you don't need to use auromvorax and you can still get stacked resists. But do you know what that does to the budget of the average player?

Sure if you have 100+ EX to spend you can easily get enough resists, but the average player can't afford Str, life, and mass resists on all their gear items, let alone item rarity / quantity which also is very common for RF characters. That shit costs a fortune to get all those mods. Without resists, it's much MUCH cheaper.

So good for you, but there's plenty of people that don't play as much as you who probably couldn't make the character work without aurumvorax and snapshotting. And if they can, they probably won't want to anyway because it'll be a lot weaker.

If they don't buff the damage on RF, a lot of people will just make a new character.

Also, you might want to invest in:

haha, what?.. RF gear is some of the cheapest gear. You can find good deals all the time for a few chaos(for each piece). It's extremely easy to get overcapped fire res for the typical RF build.

I believe flamesurge was your buff. Enjoy the fix. You have 7 weeks left.

I cannot believe players are actually saying the words that RF will be useless without snapsnot.

So spoilt... so spoilt...

I don't know what build you're talking about or what your level of 'satisfactory build' is but if you need anything close to 100ex to make RF work then you're doing it wrong. It is one of the cheapest and easily achievable builds in the game. On top of that, you just need to walk near mobs.

Sorry but your post just sounds like your one of those players who has to play the cookiecutter build of the moment, and it must be godly geared to be considered decent. That, my friend, is not how most people play.

It's a question of overview, to me a RF build was always a niche thing that used a feature of a skill to get unintended results, which means I don't even expect it to be a competition to regular builds, something akin to facebreaker.

That said, it was never this easy to get an RF build going and dps is much, much better compared to what you could expect of it prior to DoT rework. RF build these days is a pretty comfortable experience overall, and you can even use MF supports with it to seal the deal, claims that the build will die are nothing short of ridiculous.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Not for good Str / Life / Resist / IIQ / IIR gear it isn't. Which was, you know, my whole point and all.

But if you like, you can post up your gear that's so good AND so cheap as you say. If you have any good gear, with Str/life/resist/IIQ/IIR, you'd know how god damn expensive it is :)

Which back to the original point. Aurumvorax allows you to not need resists, and you only need Str/Life/IIQ/IIR which is much much cheaper. You can even ditch the IIQ and just go Str/Life/IIR if you really want to make it cheap.

But yeah, anybody can make a "decent" ghetto RF character for just a few EX which can easily do maps. That's not even remotely what my post was about though... Reading is your friend
