[3.10] Sovyn's Lazy Pally - Tanky Templar with Max Block
Was thinking about giving this build a try with the next league. I wanted to have a build that could build up a quick base for following characters and I'm a little worried this build will be slow.

" The damage is good now, easily over 100K DPS effective at endgame which is pretty great for one handed melee compared to how it was just a year ago. Especially for only 4 ex budget. Maybe try Cyclone as the attack skill choice with the build if you like fast paced play. Only thing is you will get stuck on terrain now and again, just not ideal game design but that's how it is. Don't forget to carry quicksilver flasks also if speed is important to you. |

Today's Update
After using up a few stacks of regrets testing various nodes, this is my semi-final tree for 2.2. Link |

Hey man nice build, i finally got all the unics for the build. I was reading the post and u posted a tree to use with the bringer of rain, and now you posted the 2.2 build, wich one do i follow with a new character?

Thoughts on the new Sunder skill for the lazy pally?

" The latest one I posted. Enjoy! |
|
" Looks interesting. It is highly directional (narrower than ground slam) which means careful placement becomes necessary which I am not a huge fan of. I'll be looking closely at it and Earthquake as well. Also if either of these skills doesn't generate effectively over 100K DPS it won't keep up with static strike for boss kills and we only really have room for one skill. By the way I wouldn't mind switching main attack skill to freshen things up, but it has to make sense. |

Ascendancy looks like it's going to open up a world of choices for this particular build.
It looks like every class has at least one subclass option that would work to enhance the build. It's going to be hard to decide on what I want to do for the temp league come March 4. |
|
" Hard to beat 75 block / 75 spell block + super damage boost from Inquisitor. All for 4 ex. Going to be pretty insane. |
|
" That may be true, but those options are all there and should be fun to play around with. I mean didn't you already have 75/75 block before? Depending on what you want to do, you have a lot of options. My Scion looks to be getting 6% block and 30% spell block (and 2 passive points). That's a pretty good boost. Once I can gear out of that, she has a ton of fun options. For a new character in a temp league playing solo self found, I don't really worry about min/maxing as much as I do with whats fun to play. I see 9 sub-classes that each have slightly different interactions here (I think that's pretty cool). 9 flavors of Lazy Pally :) |
